How do you pronounce it and where are you from?

How funny l was in Tesco before and a woman was holding a packets of Almonds saying Almond over and over. I wonder if she has read this thread.

Pleased to see everyone from the Midlands says Al mund.. which is how I say it. But where I live in SE locals says ahlll-mond (including my DC). My ExH is from overseas and he says ahhmond.

Ah-mund. But I’m northern so that’s a flat, muddy mund, not a bright sparkly sounds like mand.

I say the first syllable like 'all' as in tall ... all-mund. That's probably just me though
