It was nothing really, but scary at the time. We had battery packs on our waist, and my got caught when going belly down through a teeny tiny hole. I got laughed at, and I very nearly filled the cavern behind me with poo.

Shook a sauce bottle without checking whether previous user (DH) had screwed the cap on firmly - wearing an expensive cream silk shirt at the time.

Ditto. Salad cream. At camp. Involved my Commanding Officer who was in his Number 1s.

Pay at the petrol pump, but instead of putting it in the card slot I pushed it up the one where the receipt comes out, wondering why it was going all the way in. It took me ages to coax it back out with the edge of a key and just when it was in reach and I could pull it I would end up pushing it in again. Never again. I felt like a total dick.

The bus from Glasgow to St Erth (changing in London). 26hrs of hell.

The way back was worse though, when there was a massive bus delay from London and then the bus broke down. Nearly 48hrs on a bus or in a bus station. Nope. Never again.

We were in France- my husband went shopping and thought they looked tasty. They do actually look ok. He cooked them, made some lovely accompaniments, and served it to six of us. Suffice to say the accompaniments were enjoyed, the sausages were ditched.

Trampolining - pulled muscle mid back. Could hardly walk after.

Ice skating - pulled ligament in shoulder. Had to have physio.

Boating on the Norfolk Broads - never again.

As a teen dm booked boating on the Norfolk Broads. Decided taking our 2 big ddogs was a good idea.. Every lock they jumped ship and buggared off!!

Drive my car into a flood. It drowned, and was written off. Poor car. 😢

DP ordered andouillette on our first holiday to France back in the day. The smell made me feel sick and I wasn’t the one eating it. I’m convinced the stuff is a Gallic joke played on middle class British tourists who think of themselves as foodies.

The tripe sausage comments make me laugh, in my old country Tripe Soup is a traditional food and I bloody love it 😃 With garlic and apple cider vinegar, it’s great! But it really doesn’t taste like poop, does this sausage?!

Quad biking. Got on and absolutely hated it - the practise course was insanely hard and I just kept panicking.

Same!! Went quad biking in Mexico for my 30th found the bike too heavy to control safely so whilst everyone else went off up to a waterfall I spent a good 3-4 hours sat back at base in blazing sun bored shitless waiting for them all to come back, wishing I'd gone back onto the ship instead cos at least I could've had a few drinks and cooled off in the pool but I didn't fancy the taxi journey back on my own or have to walk past a load of people begging
