Jump off a boat into Loch Ness.

Christ, it was cold.

Tiny2018 · 09/02/2022 18:22

Anal.

SleepingStandingUp · 09/02/2022 18:24

carrick a rede rope bridge

I'm scared of heights.
Got across one way on pride ("if you're not going a Ross love you need to come off cos I'm not rescuing you!) but half way back (after a sit down to let the adrenaline drop) the wing picked up (they'd kept opening and closing the bridge) and I felt it move and I stopped. You don't stop! Had an actual moment of imagining never moving again. My lovely friend sang the school song with me (we were in our 30s), to get me across

NETSRIK · 09/02/2022 18:25

Ariel Adventure at Centre Parcs for me too! Hated it. Thought it would be a doddle.

LetHimHaveIt · 09/02/2022 18:29

Carried my child wearing flip flops :(

I was lucky and just broke a load of bones in my foot and took all but one toenail off when I fell, but I could've caused my baby irreversible harm: as it was, miraculously, she was unharmed. Fucking idiot. I still break into a cold sweat when I remember it.

Wotrewelookinat · 09/02/2022 18:31

@ComingtoKent

Skiing.
Same. Hated it and hurt my knees.
AutomaticMoon · 09/02/2022 18:31

@NotRainingToday

A very high, very fast water slide. It was like a colonic irrigation!
😂 Mmm, refreshing...?
Ilovetommycat · 09/02/2022 18:33

Any flight over 4 hours long unless I can afford business class. Longest was 13 hours and I absolutely hated it.
Also, calamari Sad

CatrinVennastin · 09/02/2022 18:38

Oysters - tried them in a fancy place in Edinburgh. Like snot in a shell.

Scuba diving - I have an inner ear problem and I couldn’t equalise the pressure so could only dive down about half a metre. Total waste of time.

AutomaticMoon · 09/02/2022 18:38

Bought a church, in Shetland, without ever having been there. I pray it all works out.

AutomaticMoon · 09/02/2022 18:39

Got married in Botswana, at 17.

DueyCheatemAndHow · 09/02/2022 18:40

Quad biking. Got on and absolutely hated it - the practise course was insanely hard and I just kept panicking.

Unsuremover · 09/02/2022 18:41

@AutomaticMoon I wonder if it was I looked at 100’s of times online? And it’ll be great, the plan in my head worked out fine Wink

Pombearsforthewin · 09/02/2022 18:43

Like others, white water rafting. Scary. As. Fek! Also, like others, coming down a very high and twisty flume at a water park. I was literally flung above the side of the flume wall at a corner, and though I was going to be catapulted over the side.....My family waiting in the pool at the bottom saw it happen, and couldn't stop laughing at my forcible ejection and then the whomping thump as I hit back down into the water. Never again... ever!

jesusmaryjosephandtheweedonkey · 09/02/2022 18:43

Climes that's the roof of York minster and nearly threw up because I was so unfit

Easterbunnyiswindowshopping · 09/02/2022 18:45

Went to a religious healing retreat and saw things no person should see. Think scalpel and cataract surgery on a stage...
Envy
Not envy.

Laiste · 09/02/2022 18:45

A sweep.

Never. Ever. Again

JustJam4Tea · 09/02/2022 18:45

@WillowintheUK

Tried andouillette - one teensy mouthful. Truly awful. 🤮
Same…how can people?
DinosApple · 09/02/2022 18:47

Have a race down the stairs with me and my brother's shoe laces tied together...HmmGrin

Fortunately, the intervening 35 years make a repeat highly unlikely!

100problems · 09/02/2022 18:47

abseiling

Pontins camber sands

If I had to abseiling would win if there were ever a next time.

TimBoothseyes · 09/02/2022 18:47

Childbirth. Once was enough for me.

caranations · 09/02/2022 18:48

Tell someone some very unwelcome news.

Babdoc · 09/02/2022 18:49

@Georgyporky your post reminded me of the old rhyme:
Never shake a ketchup bottle.
None’ll come - and then a lot’ll! Grin

DramaAlpaca · 09/02/2022 18:50

@theDudesmummy

Thinking I would try abseiling (was very young). I completely froze at the top, refused to move an inch up or down and had to be rescued by several people.
Abseiling here too.

I did go down eventually, having held everybody else up at the top for ages while I gathered my courage, but OMG I was terrified. I had to be helped out of the harness because I was shaking so much I couldn't stand. Never, ever again.

Put your hand on an electronic hob top to see if it's still hot.
