Where was Boris Johnson?

Does anyone know where Boris Johnson was over the last ten days? He was interviewed and asked if he had been abroad. He said of course not and did a laugh as if he was lying.
So where has he been?

I don't actually think A Prime Minister should be able to go away for 10 days and do nothing. In the company I work for senior staff don't do this, and they are a lot less important than a Prime Minister.
Just because he hasn't been making announcements doesn't mean he hasn't been working...

Well Downing Street is rather a large place But anyway it's quite possible he's at Chequers with it being the xmas period .

I agree he’s lying ( bluster means lies with Boris or at least stretching the truth) so probably away for a holiday, might have been Scotland or at least an island somewhere, well not much happening in the country recently so…… unbelievable!

Nobody is tracking him though.... you would never know if he had been in and out of Downing Street or wherever!! He's free to go where he likes, and when!

It's not about agreeing with him, it's about whether he should be present at this time, given his job is Prime Minister it's expected that's yes, he should be around.

I don't do blanket hatred.

Neither do I as a rule, but I make an exception for BJ and I do this because of his own behaviour over many years.

We're not jumping to defend him. We're just applying a little bit of logic and common sense. We all know he's a twat. That doesn't mean he's popped over to Australia for 10 days.

Of course he can't take 10 days off in the middle of a crucial point in a pandemic. But the man is a useless, lying flobby narcissist who is so far in over his head he doesn't know what to do.

Maybe spending time with his kids? From his latest marriage, his other marriage (not sure if those kids are speaking to him after he cheated on their mum while she had cancer) or the kids from his affairs that he has not officially said are his? Christmas is a time for family after all.

He was photographed making phone calls with his wife and baby and dog to ambulance staff on Christmas Eve or Day from Chequers. He has a 3 week old baby - surely he's allowed a few days off. Unless he's been at giant parties snogging all and sundry, I don't care.

OP I think you don't understand how people work. Just because you aren't seeing the PM on your TV doesn't mean he's not working. He lives at his place of work (unless he's away) and there are things called the internet and phones, so he can be kept up to date anywhere.

What are you hoping for? Daily press briefings?
Daily tours of vaccination centres?

I’m not a fan of Boris (I don’t vote Tory) but surely he deserves a few days off like everyone else? Also he didn’t take paternity leave when his wife gave birth a few weeks ago?

He had already decided he wasn’t going to impose and more restrictions before Christmas so it was probably a good time for him to have a break?

Doesn’t really matter if he’s working or not as he’s pretty useless anyway 😬
