Recently discontinued products- this is not trivial!

After searching fruitlessly for it over the last couple of weeks I've just googled and discovered that they've discontinued Baileys Haagen Daz!
DP is going to be devastated, not looking forward to breaking it to him.

Can't find Sainsbury's own brand shredded beetroot since the Christmas stuff started appearing either, I usually get through at least a jar a week, even more in summer.

Rounds off a crap year nicely.

Can you even do a local rag sadface with a mask on?

Another mourner of Cherry Garcia here. I know you can get the frozen yoghurt version but it's not the same AT ALL. < stamps foot>

Ok so it's no longer ranged at your nearest store and I've checked every store in a 10 mile radius and none are ranged for it. Try asking at your store for them to do a customer order especially if you will buy a full case (which I think is 6)

For big squashy satsumas you need a Turkish food shop, good for other fruit and salads as well

So many things…food wise I’m thinking of Beanfeast and Sosmix, Cheese Moments, and no one has mentioned mushroom and wine Pasta n Sauce - so wrong but so tasty!

I also miss ranitidine, I’ve got lansoprazole on prescription but it’s no good for instant relief and I don’t want to take it daily. Ranitidine was so cheap and fast

Ann French cleansing milk - I’ve used it since I was a teenager and suddenly now aged 48 it’s gone. I even rang the company to check but definitely discontinued. I cannot find another milk cleanser anywhere near the same . Also it was only £3.99 a bottle

I find that whichever ready meal is my 'favourite' at M&S is promptly discontinued! So far it has been Chicken Cordon Bleu, fresh Haddock Mornay, frozen Haddock Mornay and the lovely Gastropub Chicken Proscuitto. I keep writing to them asking why and never get a satisfactory answer!

Oh my lord. I am absolutely gutted to find this out. It is my absolute favourite. I’ve been using up loads of others and hadn’t realised so today is A Sad Day.

Vidal Sassoon did shampoo and conditioner in around 1993 which was superb. They smelled slightly almond and I absolutely loved them. I used to buy them in Tesco, and no shampoo or conditioner compares.

Estée Lauder also discontinued their Caffe Latte lipstick in the early 2010s which devastated me. I’ve bought three of them on the US eBay at extortionate prices since (especially as I know what I’m buying is a GWP) but I haven’t forgiven Estée Lauder.

Also Benefit for discontinuing Coralista blusher.

Yes-I adored them Went to the shops to buy them and couldn’t find them anywhere I’m an oddball though-I buy flakes and freeze them-so much nicer than unfrozen ones

I was bereft when Heinz threatened to discontinue Salad Cream, fortunately they saw the light. I bloody love that vinegary stuff, mayonnaise just doesn't cut it for me!

There's a very good reason for Zantac (a brand name for the drug ranitidine) being taken off the market.

In September 2019, N -nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) — a probable human carcinogen — was found to be present in unacceptable concentrations in batches of ranitidine, which led to product recalls that started in October 2019.

In November 2020, all licences for ranitidine medicines were suspended by the European Commission and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

Resolve was a game changer! Tesco do a version but nowhere near as good ( or maybe I’m just older !) also Heinz sweet piccalilli has disappeared. Wish they’d tell us in advance so could bulk buy!
