Recently discontinued products- this is not trivial!

After searching fruitlessly for it over the last couple of weeks I've just googled and discovered that they've discontinued Baileys Haagen Daz!
DP is going to be devastated, not looking forward to breaking it to him.

Can't find Sainsbury's own brand shredded beetroot since the Christmas stuff started appearing either, I usually get through at least a jar a week, even more in summer.

Rounds off a crap year nicely.

Can you even do a local rag sadface with a mask on?

Sainsburys nutty loaf. A lightly fruited flat loaf with icing on top and flaked nuts in the icing. Delicious. Not seen it for donkeys years.

Chunky Money - oh those cute little chocolate bananas. Why is it so hard to find decent banana ice cream in the UK? When I rarely find it on sale it is always too sweet. They sell it everywhere in France. Ditto decent coconut ice cream.

Toast toppers. I'm sure they would make a fortune if they brought them back.

Burger King Mushroom Double Swiss - the only decent fas food burger.

Subways' seafood sub.

Cabana chocolate bar.

Satsumas - not horrible clementine wannabes but proper satsumas. They are as rare as hen's teeth again this year.

@RainbowZebraWarrior M&S Nut Cutlets were amazing. They should bring them back.

I miss L'Oréal mens dandruff shampoo discontinued I think last year. Can't find anything that makes my hair so glossy but not greasy.

I found cheesy footballs in Poundland a few days ago and promptly bought a few boxes.

I also miss old school l, crunchy, greasy kettle chips, satsumas and Abbey Crunch.

Adding B&J’s The Full Vermonty- lovely, maple-pecan goodness. Sadly, long gone.

Quite a few of my childhood Christmas treats have disappeared. RIP Tizer.

and who is buying all of the Pepsi Max? We have raspberry, cherry and lime in abundance, but the plain old no added flavour Pepsi Max must all be on sale on the other side of the country.

I miss M&S whisp yoghurts. I even went to work for M&S for a year in the hope to bring them back, with no success! 😩

I also miss Ferreo Rocher dark chocolate boxes, I know they come in the multipack but I only want the dark chocolate ones!

We've bought all the Pepsi Max my teens drink it like water.

Ben and Jerry used to do an amazing ice-cream which was chocolate with salted macadamia nuts in it. Why do they stop the best flavours and replace with rubbish ones like Netflix n chill?!

I bought Paynes Just Brazils from Wilko about a month ago-have they really been discontinued?

I still mourn the loss of sizzle and stir from the 90s. Pure comfort food that.

Every year I hope they bring back Worcester Sauce Twiglets . They were amazing, joyous things!

I miss Worcester sauce twiglets. They were fabulous. And Gino Ginelli ice cream, especially tutti frutti and fudge flavours.

Yeeees! The original Kettle Chips, so sharp you could skin a goat with and darker cooked. Yum! Also am peeved at the demise of an+S Chicken Tikka sarnies - though it was about 30 years ago so I should probably get over it. And why or why can't you get scampi and lemon Nic Nacs now except in a 6 pack where you have to differ the other 2 rubbish flavours 😤 eh? Eh?

Not at all the same but Sainsburys have changed their cafe teacakes - no longer chunky and square, now 'new recipe' average round ones. I used to look forward to them as you couldn't buy them in a shop and seriously filling, I'd have them for lunch as a treat

Lea and Perrins discontinued their Worcester sauce table sauce a few years ago and tbh, I've never gotten over it. I think of it often, wistfully, when eating roast potatoes.

Farmfoods have some random flavours of Hagen Daz at the moment, I bought a raspberry and peach one I had never seen before, £1.99, was delicious. I’m sure they had the Dulche Lait one, gong tomorrow for a few last minute bits so will report back!

Poundland do just Scampi Flavour Fries... or at least they did pre-pandemic - haven't been in a while!

I am devastated that Metcalfe's stopped their Chocolate Crackle Popcorn.. OMG! If I'd have only know, I would have bought boxes! Best popcorn in the world and when I emailed them about it they told me they categorically would not be bringing ir back. So sad still!

When I was a child M&S did little boxes of pink grapefruit flavoured sweets called Tinos that you picked up by the till. My mum always used to buy them then one day they disappeared. We still talk about them. I'm 37.

I can't find mint matchmakers anywhere. I liked those.

I feel for you. I am still bereft about Toast Toppers being discontinued and that was years ago. Heinz need to reinstate it soon.

Dh and I are missing Heinz Mustard pickle which disappeared in 2020. Got something in Mark's which just about cuts the mustard. Love it on burgers when barbecuing. Understand it may be due to the pandemic but hope it hasn't disappeared for good

Not quiet the same but I ordered a large box of Elizabeth Shaw’s famous name liqueurs. Which were then substituted for a small box of Lindt. This got me thinking where have all the chocolate liqueurs gone? Also, where has just Brazil’s chocolates gone?

Was just thinking yesterday about chocolate liqueurs. Lindt used to do a bar of chocolate and each square contained a liqueur. Were very nice.

Used to buy real satsumas in sacks back in the 80s. I could eat them by the dozen. So lovely.
