Yes, and am I right in thinking that she shouldn't have been driving legally with a history of known seizures with an undiagnosed cause?

Theythinkitsalloveritisnow · 15/12/2021 13:46

No she wouldn't be able to drive, tho I can't imagine she would give a shit about a minor thing like that Hmm

ancientgran · 15/12/2021 13:50

@Theythinkitsalloveritisnow

Small point but I have epilepsy and I have never heard of someone having an 80min seizure. 10 minutes is dangerous.
I thought it sounded odd where it says she was found collapsed for over an hour. I mean if she was found how do they know how long she had been collapsed, or did they mean she was found collapsed and didn't recover for over an hour?
FallingStar21 · 15/12/2021 13:50

Why is everyone talking of social workers scared of parents and how they should be backed up by police etc?
We all know what happened in both Arthur and Star's cases - social workers blindly believed every word from the abusers, and that's not because they feared them Hmm

No she wouldn’t have. Considering she regularly drove whilst drunk, assaulted FS in the passenger seat whilst driving and tried to drive them both off a cliff she probably wasn’t too concerned about these kind of things though.

Is anyone else just really disturbed by Brockhill laughing and smiling in the dock?

She's a callous bitch 😤

Pretty much what you would expect from her TBH.
lupinlass · 15/12/2021 14:55

Minimum 15 hrs. ShockShock

lupinlass · 15/12/2021 14:56

Years. Does that mean she really could be out in 15 years time??!

lupinlass · 15/12/2021 14:57

Or is that just the starting point and she can add to it? I hope so!!

Lougle · 15/12/2021 15:05

Yes, just the starting point. Mitigating factors can reduce it and aggravating factors can increase it.

Minimum 25 years for SB

danni0509 · 15/12/2021 15:08

FS 2/3 of 8 years

danni0509 · 15/12/2021 15:09

Minus 443 days for both for time spent on remand.

lupinlass · 15/12/2021 15:10

SB minimum 25yrs
FS 8 yrs

MissM94 · 15/12/2021 15:10

FS only getting 8 years 😭 that bitch knew exactly what was going on, she didn't lift a finger herself, she had her Rottweiler do it instead

Malibuismysecrethome · 15/12/2021 15:12

Glad SB got a minimum of 25 years. FS should have gotten much longer for what she did to Star.
Disgustingly lenient for the torture of that poor baby.

ancientgran · 15/12/2021 15:14

I can't believe she got 8 years.

Malibuismysecrethome · 15/12/2021 15:16

Neither can I

DottyHarmer · 15/12/2021 15:17

Hmmmmph, so did the IQ mitigation make any difference? That'll open the floodgates for defence lawyers. Every Tom, Dick and Harriet'll now have a "low IQ" and couldn't possibly help their actions Angry

twilightermummy · 15/12/2021 15:17

8 years and they’ve said she only has to serve 2/3’s of that. Sickening.

It won't open any floodgates it's already 'used' and it would need to be proven someone's IQ was low.
MyComputerGetsSadWithoutMe · 15/12/2021 15:21

Poor little girl. I hope SB gets a long time in prison.

Lougle · 15/12/2021 15:21

FS will serve around 4 more years before parole is considered. I'd imagine that SB will end up with time added because of her likely conduct in jail, but otherwise 24 years left.

I hope the family is looked after.
