Stupidly hard work quiz (help!)

If anyone remembers previous years my work sets a stupidly hard quiz for us to have a go at every Christmas. This year's is no different....

I've managed to complete the first 8 puzzles myself but now I'm stuck Xmas Sad Very frustrating as I've got the gist of the puzzles but can't figure out what the answer is!

Here's the first one and here's my answers. If anyone can figure out the final answer (two words 5,7) I'd be ever so grateful 😊

edin16 · 10/12/2021 13:43

You might be into something @iklboodolphrednosedpaindear
I've only checked the first 2 and they are ravens and seahawks.

FoxgloveSummers · 10/12/2021 13:44

I think people are still curious about the 20 from 20th puzzle and what the numbers in brackets were for. Apols if this has already been posted, but I found the solution this way:
Split into two lists of ten as per original layout
If you take the first number in brackets for films from the eighties, and the second number in brackets for films from the nineties, you get a list of 1-20
Order the movies according to these numbers.
Then you take the nth letter of the movie title, n being the other number in brackets
This gives you the following when ordered 1-20: director of eighty four

I hope that's helpful for those of you who are still curious :)

I was scratching my head wondering why people agreed James Cameron directed Braveheart & The Fugitive!! I can go to sleep now 😂
