Stupidly hard work quiz (help!)

If anyone remembers previous years my work sets a stupidly hard quiz for us to have a go at every Christmas. This year's is no different....

I've managed to complete the first 8 puzzles myself but now I'm stuck Very frustrating as I've got the gist of the puzzles but can't figure out what the answer is!

Here's the first one and here's my answers. If anyone can figure out the final answer (two words 5,7) I'd be ever so grateful 😊

I've rearranged my list of films into the order of the "question" and I can't see what puts them in that order (other than the "question" itself!).

If it's not year or alphabetical, what could it be? And is it relevant anyway?

Forget Orpheus appears to be an anagram of "groups of three" 🙄

@soupdragon that makes sense! First three films are reign of fire (WHI), shaft (CHF) & vice (ILM) - all have Christian Bale in. I reckon the next three will have the same actor in too so there’s the list.

So, using the actors listed, The Firm (Tom Cruise) and The Pelican Brief (Julia Roberts) somewhat fits.

I think you're right minou — if you group the films then you get a list of actors you can use.

So really if we can find one of the co-stars from either film as one of the triples we'll know it's right. (Or Apocalypse could just try them both ways around. )
