BT for being crap and expensive.
Foxtons estate agents for being lying bastards. Still have them round every couple of years to value the house so they think I'm going to sell/rent through them. But I never will!! Mwahhahaha!
Itsu for giving me food poisoning just before getting on a 12 hour flight Envy. This was about 15 years ago. I take my grudges to the grave!!
There are probably loads more, I'm really petty Grin

Glasspen · 13/11/2021 10:01

The local Turkish Restaurant who treated ds like shit
Barclays - for being a shit employer but also a shit bank
Santander - for being very difficult
Ocado - the new m&s partnership was awful
The local butcher for completely blanking me and choosing to serve the man standing behind me with the big order.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 13/11/2021 10:03

Lush, body shop, Pantene.
BT as they signed us up to a service we didn’t want, never ordered then refused to pay back the direct debit. And were patronising gits. “Oh but it’s premier league madam doesn’t your husband want to watch it?” Apart from assuming that, he supports Sheffield united who were not PL.
British Gas for being rob dogs.
A certain charity shop in town as they were incredibly rude to my sister that was volunteering there.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 13/11/2021 10:04

Oh and our local chocolate shop who sacked dd because we were stuck in Egypt after our plane caught fire.

Itstheprinciple · 13/11/2021 10:07

BT after they tried to charge me an exorbitant sum of money for an engineer to be in my house for less than half an hour and claimed I knew this would be the case in advance. I didn't and they eventually trawled back in their call recordings and found I was in the right but it took ages to sort out and the service was shocking.
Daily Mail after Jan Muir printed incorrect homophones speculation about Stephen Gatley's death
The Sun Hillsborough obvs

SedentaryCat · 13/11/2021 10:09

Halifax.
Lush.
The Body Shop.
Wetherspoons.
Sports Direct.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 13/11/2021 10:14

Vodafone
Barclays
Santander for ‘losing’ £50,000 of my money through their incompetence.
Audi, who simply cannot understand that a woman might be the owner of one of their cars.
British Gas, whose notion of annual service is 23 months and who repeatedly cancel on the morning of planned service.
Sainsbury’s for their jumped up section manager’s petty rudeness. We have six supermarkets close by, so can pick and choose.

Pipplekins · 13/11/2021 10:15

Tesco, they did absolutely nothing when ex’s OW went into my mums personal file ( she did a temp job whilst waiting for her new job to start) to get my address and phone number.
We made a complaint, she admitted it but because her father is high up she was transferred to another branch.
We didn’t even get an apology nothing and I had to change my number as she kept calling and I moved as she’d park in my road everyday as apparently she was walking to walk.

HomeSliceKnowsBest · 13/11/2021 10:15

Lush.

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/11/2021 10:15

I’m agog at the wedding planner one too. Mind you, if you marry a woman whose four husbands in more fool you.

TaraLewis · 13/11/2021 10:17

My Nan wouldn't buy any Proctor and Gamble products in the 80's as they were apparently owned by the church of Satan (or something equally ridiculous) 😂

wonkylegs · 13/11/2021 10:21

Ryanair
Elephant car insurance (cancelled my policy by mistake and left me uninsured for a few months but claimed I did it and they could prove it - except the proof was apparently a timed/dated call when I could most definitely prove I was elsewhere.... I was getting married to DH in front of 120 witnesses!!)
Sky - awful experience
Powergen & British Gas
Local barber - she's a terrible gossip and goes on vile drunken rants on village FB page so now I cut the kids hair and DH goes to my hairdresser at 4x the price but less vitriol.

ItsSnotFair · 13/11/2021 10:22

JL here, totally cocked up a order (furniture) twice, wouldn't refund until it was back in their warehouse - they'd already collected the wrong order twice
The icing was asking if we could come to an agreement ie I could have it for a reduced price, why I would want to spend money on something I didn't order/want never crossed their mind
Never again

RedHot22 · 13/11/2021 10:24

Yep. Uncle Dave 😂

FionnulaTheCooler · 13/11/2021 10:25

Amazon. I still bear a grudge against them for not sending the specific character balloons that DD wanted for her 5th birthday party on time despite me paying extra for express delivery.

Local independent gift shop. The owner is a rude dickhead with no people skills.

wonkylegs · 13/11/2021 10:25

Oh and oak furniture land (delivered us a box of smashed furniture 3x in a row then took 6mths to refund us)
Furniture village - also known as Fuckwit Village- told me our sofa snapped after a month because I'm too fat and wouldn't refund .... not only was the manager incredibly rude but it was laughable as I was a tiny 4'11 size 6 at the time - if I was too fat for the sofa so was everybody!

Eyesofdisarray · 13/11/2021 10:27

Local chemist- obnoxious owner, overpriced stock
Lush- horrible attitude to JKR and for jumping on you as soon as you set foot in the shop 😠
Local butcher for selling me green lamb chops 🤢
Local hairdressers- wanted to treat myself but they made me look like an irate budgie
Not keen on shopping local anymore 😠

wonkylegs · 13/11/2021 10:27

@Foxyloxy1plus1 - Audi are well known for shocking customer service especially to women. We didn't even test drive their cars last time we went car shopping because I refused to deal with them ever again.

BaronessBomburst · 13/11/2021 10:27

Barclays Bank
Nestle

HeronLanyon · 13/11/2021 10:28

A local shop who made planning application then breached all conditions to get retrospective permission. Lots locally are boycotting. Very popular and people travel to it so has no effect really. Is also a shop selling stuff I LOVE (food related). Nose fully cut off here.
Starbucks. Can’t even remember why but have been in one twice in my life (surrounded by them).
Local restaurant who breached Covid stuff very badly throughout.
Barclays - from 1980s South Africa stuff.
My local Lloyds branch who have infuriated me so many times.
A local small Sainsburys if a partic till staff member is on.
Various countries with death penalty / human rights abuses / including a number of USA states (whole of USA where possible but have family there)
Labour Party and unions etc due to women’s rights erosion. Cards cut up (they make good decorating toolsGrin)

Eyesofdisarray · 13/11/2021 10:29

Oh- Ryanair how could I forget them? I'd pay more to fly with anybody else but them

Porridgeislife · 13/11/2021 10:33

Belgium. The whole country.

VW because our Golf Mk 8 is a steaming turd of a car and I think there’s now fewer original bits than replacements.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 13/11/2021 10:36

They were incapable of understanding that the car was mine, paid for by me, my name on all the documents. They even sent letters to Mr Myname Mysurname. Every time it went for servicing they would speak to DH, until he told them, in no uncertain terms, to speak to me.

Haven’t bought one of their cars for years.

Shamoo · 13/11/2021 10:39

British Airways. Because they have the worst customer services I have ever experienced, and could not care less about their customers. Cancelled my flight with no options to book an alternative, cost thousands to boon a replacement with a new airline, and they refused to refund me for five months. Absolutely awful company

Terfydactyl · 13/11/2021 10:40

Halifax bank, from 30 plus years ago.
HSBC for stupid fucking rules re opening accounts.
British gas, long long ago fuck up. Ended up in court too.
3 phone company. Worst customer service ever.
M and s I miss a lot but mixed sex change rooms are an accident waiting to happen.
Barclays bank. When they finally fucked up it was a spectacular mess.

Just so we are clear, it's not the fucking up I mind, humans will make mistakes after all. It's the aftermath when nothing changes that gets my goat.
Theres more but I'm hungover and tired.
