Teabags

Hi

Can I pick your brain this morning and ask that you give me your best suggestion for teabags? I’ve been using Tetley like forever and feel it’s time to switch up as I’m just not getting that good cuppa kick from it.

I love my tea, drink around 3 cups a day minimum. The one that is suggested the most I shall purchase on my next shop!

Thanks

Yorkshire decaf.

I think some of theirs are also now biodegradable?

twilightcafe · 09/11/2021 09:31

Dorset Tea. Bought a pack on holiday and switched immediately from Clipper.
Assam tea bags if you like a robust, malty brew.

silverbubbles · 09/11/2021 09:32

Twinings Everyday (yellow box) is the best. I used to drink Twinings breakfast and moved on to this one

Assam tea bags if you like a robust, malty brew.

I like to have some of those as an occasional change. But also some Darjeeling if I want a delicate but flavourful black tea.

whyiscakesodelicious · 09/11/2021 09:34

Yorkshire Tea

millerpie · 09/11/2021 09:35

Dorset tea or Stokes but Yorkshire if I can’t get the first two. Never a fan of PG.

Moonface88 · 09/11/2021 09:38

M&S gold or Aldi gold

Bunglemom · 09/11/2021 09:39

yorkshire

PlausibleSuit · 09/11/2021 09:40

Edinburgh Tea & Coffee Company is my favourite, followed by Punjana if I can't get it.

I've never liked Yorkshire Tea, it has an odd aftertaste to me. Like sweet plastic.

VienneseWhirligig · 09/11/2021 09:42

Yorkshire - either Gold or Biscuit Brew

Gonnagetgoing · 09/11/2021 09:43

Mornings up til 2pm I drink twinings everyday tea. After 2pm it’s Yorkshire decaff tea.

Used to have in one office Sainsbury’s red label tea.

Funnily enough was staying at DB’s recently ran out of tea and got Tetleys and was surprised how strong it was!

Gonnagetgoing · 09/11/2021 09:44

@silverbubbles - that’s mine too, nice isn’t it?! Brew

LittleMysSister · 09/11/2021 09:45

PG Tips for me. Like others I used to have Yorkshire but switched due to plastic in their bags. Actually think I prefer PG Tips anyway.

MsMiaWallace · 09/11/2021 09:49

Twinnings Everyday!
Best brew by far.

TroysMammy · 09/11/2021 09:52

For bags I buy Waitrose extra strong. I stock up when I visit family who live near one or I buy Welsh Tea which is local.
Loose leaf Rwandan, Russian Caravan, Yunnan and Keemun.

Booksandwine80 · 09/11/2021 09:55

Yorkshire tea, cannot drink any other brand Blush

AutumnWreath · 09/11/2021 09:58

Another one saying - the Ringtons man who delivers. Ringtons Gold teabags .

Norugratsatall · 09/11/2021 10:00

I'm a bit addicted to Twinings Breakfast I'll be honest. But.... I'd love to switch to a brand of tea bag which has no plastic, so it'll go onto the compost. Any suggestions?

sunflower198 · 09/11/2021 10:01

Yorkshire tea everytime
