Some very interesting traffic heading to Scotland for Cop 26.

PRES101 from Aerolinas Argentinas appears to be about to land at Prestwick.

Private jet LNX29KG also en route to Glasgow.

Dunblane hydro had loads of protestors and heavy police presence last night and this morning. My source told me the reason for this is that there is a leader there who is linked to a government official to do with genocide. So a few angry people making their thoughts known.

I don't know the story and don't know who it is, so I don't know if this delegate cleared someone of their crimes, or what their involvement was.

KingsleyShacklebolt · 02/11/2021 16:41

Planes are starting to fly back into Glasgow to pick people up - Croatia just landed, Australia next and just flying up along the M74.

That’ll be Biden heading down the 74 with his helicopter and police entourage overhead

Scrap they…they’ve dispersed!!
NigelSlatersXmasTaters · 02/11/2021 16:56

Can't see anyone heading down there

SpookyScarySkeletons · 02/11/2021 17:00

I'm confuzzled? I thought COP26 was in for 2 weeks? So why are some leaving already?

KingsleyShacklebolt · 02/11/2021 17:03

The World Leaders bit was yesterday and today. For the rest of this week, and all of next week, their minions and negotiators will continue, all finishes on 12th.

Apparently the world leaders are only there for 2 days and are leaving their minions to do the rest of the work afterwards
SpookyScarySkeletons · 02/11/2021 17:17

Ah thank you for clearing that up!

KingsleyShacklebolt · 02/11/2021 17:22

Australian air force just landed, that's quite a flight home for their PM.

I noticed most of the recent things Smile

I've been a FlightRadar addict on and off for several years. In actual fact, I found out about it on MN. So pleased to find there is a military tracker, thanks.

I probably shouldn't say this, but love Lightning maps and OpenTrain Times as well.

Teuchterlass · 02/11/2021 18:54

Did anyone else see two USA planes almost on top of one another off Norfolk which seem to have now vanished?

notimagain · 02/11/2021 19:10

Plenty of US planes around…if they were military and over the North Sea they may have hidden themselves from those watching on trackers, or maybe they are at low level and are below tracker coverage.

Teuchterlass · 02/11/2021 19:13

It was a Hercules and what I think might be AF1 that I saw, I think they have reappeared now.

JaggyJumper · 02/11/2021 19:14

Just heard a really loud plane over Edinburgh. I wasn’t home when they were all arriving and we are in the flight path, went right on to flight radar and it’s not there so I wonder what that’s been. I had a look and it looked bigger than most that I usually notice!

notimagain · 02/11/2021 19:26

No sign of AF-1 but I can see a couple of C-130s and a KC135R (Boeing four engined aircraft, based on the 707 airframe, that used for all sorts of interesting things) lurking around off the Lincolnshire coast
notimagain · 02/11/2021 19:29

FWIW it looks like the KC-135 might be refueling one of the C-130s, but it’s difficult to be certain.

YellowandGreenToBeSeen · 02/11/2021 19:29

Biden yet to take off. No Fly Zone done with once he’s airborne (and then the poor helicopter pilot can go home!)

@TheSilveryPussycat real time trains is good fun too, it shows the times and little avatars of the trains so you can see what type of train it is/how many carriages etc. We have a train line beside us so I can look up what’s coming and also see what time DH’s train is getting in🤣 (or was, in the before wfh days)
Tototipple · 02/11/2021 19:34

How can you tell which one is Biden? Is it on Flightradar24?
