Some very interesting traffic heading to Scotland for Cop 26.

PRES101 from Aerolinas Argentinas appears to be about to land at Prestwick.

Private jet LNX29KG also en route to Glasgow.

To add- The Flight radar tracker is picking up the datalink that some airport vehicles have on board to transmit identifying information back to that radar system.

Thank you.

You’re welcome..best place to see this all in action is at Heathrow, where you can watch the Operations vehicles (often with a “LDR” = “leader” callsign) driving along runways and taxi ways doing inspections.

I saw a presentation given by some of the ATC’ers at Heathrow a handful of years back on their newly upgraded ground movements radar system….it’s v v impressive …flight radar only shows vehicles actively cooperating via datalink but they can do see all the other stuff (buses, refueling vehicles etc). If you are taxiing around in really thick fog, where sometimes even the taxiway lights are hard to see, they can give a hint as to when the next left/right turn is coming up.

I heard an unusual plane fly overheard. Not a commercial flight or light aircraft.
Thought what it must be like in Ukraine at the moment Sad
Looked it up on Flightradar and have been following it.
It's an RAF Airbus A400m, a big military plane. It's circled over Sussex a few times, coming down low and then off to do the same over Guernsey. I assume it's a training flight. If I hadn't heard and seen the plane I wouldn't be glued to FR24, I only usually follow the flights my adult DCs are on. I can't stop now until it lands.
