Is there any decent soap left? Recommended me some!

Imperial leather -what happened to it? It's a mushy mess! Eugh, and I've got four bars of the foul stuff.

I'm sure it never used to be so soft and messy. Is there any decently priced soap ( could push the boat out for some quality) that won't mush or crack?

I prefer bar soap to liquid.

Nesti Dante here too - never mushy, always smell divine and the bars are huge!

Mind you with the really big ones I find I have to cut them in half , too afraid of dropping them on my toes .

Does anyone remember Cleopatra soap from i think the 80s? Navy and gold label I absolutely adored the smell of it, ooh I wonder if I can still get it anywhere.

According to the internet triple milling gives a harder soap which makes it last longer and gives a creamy lather .

Yardley soap is lovely, really good lather. The lavender and the lemon ones are my favourite.
They sell it in the original factory shop for £1 a bar.

This soap us gorgeous and creamy and smells delicious and lasts ages!

Shield is our go to soap here. It just smells fresh and clean!

I will occasionally deviate and go to dove or palm olive but I always go back to this one!

We use Suma soaps, the round translucent ones, the rose and geranium one is lovely, no cracking, no going mushy.

Another Nests Dante fan here. The packaging is lovely too. I have a small basket of them in my downstairs cloakroom which smelis divine.

Body Shop bar soap is fabulous

Waitrose do some lovely glycerin soaps, some nice fragrances or an unfragranced one.

As a real treat I love L’Occitane Shea Butter soap.

I actually sit my bar soap on one of those flat pan silicon pan scrubbers with the soft rubber "bristles" i find that works better than a soap dish for circulating air round the bar and keeping it dry.

I buy soap in TKMaxx too
