Another slightly odd lighthearted thread!

I've realised that I really love the smell of dust burning on a radiator

Anyone else?

Petrol

The smoke off a burned match, especially a brand called "Mayan" that are made from cactus quills instead of wood. They smell amazing.

Skunk.

Rain on hot pavement.

My cat's paws.

My dd loves the smell of the vents in the car when you first turn on the AC when the car is burning hot on on the inside from sitting in the sun. We live in Texas, we smell this smell a lot.

I think my best smells are now banned leaded petrol and creosote. Petrichor still exists though so hurray for rain on hot stones!

My dog's paws, my dog's ears, worst of all- my dog's farts, old and new books, horse manure; But nothing in the world beats the smell of a horse. Heaven.

I was just about to start the exact same thread! Genuinely came on here to do so.

Anyway mine is new bin bags (I also like more common ones like petrol and paint)

Boot polish. I used to keep a tin in my bag when pregnant. And i licked it

Ooh yes, the smell of candle burning in a hollowed out swede

The smell of a library/book shop makes me need to pop. It’s like a nervous tummy it gives me.

I went on an all day ride in Iceland a couple of years ago and when I got back I REEKED of horse so much that DH wouldn’t even sit in the hotel foyer with me while I drank a coffee to warm up 😂 I thought I smelt lovely

Ice- I used to love the smell of freezers in shops before they all had lids on
A bit specific, but Green Lanes in London in the evening in summer, it smells like warm fruit and car exhaust and hot bread
Privet flowers and creosote mixed on hot days

Creosote, mmmm

Hate the same of petrol though.

Tinsel. Has to be old tinsel though, the more modern stuff doesn't smell right at all.
