I hate travelling. Don’t like going on holidays and I don’t like staying in hotels. Most people live boring average lives (myself included). So much feels pointless since we all end up in the same position in the end. Life is dull most of the time. Most marriages are like roommates with occasional sex thrown in. And you? What uncommon opinions do you have?

Why? Most people tend to get a few days wear out of PJs. Knickers will absorb any discharge.

So will the PJs. Some will find that grim, but I don't have a problem with it.
I just think some people are a bit prissy about natural secretions these days. It's not like it's blood/pee/shit i.e. anything gross.

It's a good job that the ones who don't want , or like , children don't feel that way about their own mums and dads who had them once 😂
(I do get it though , my son and some of his friends are the same too but only because they feel the world isn't a good place just now )

Children are tedious, bad for the environment and have a high chance of ruining your body, mental health, career and relationship for little reward. I am consequently careful with contraception and if I got pregnant, would abort without a second thought

So bloody weird to be on a website called Mumsnet when you hate children. It seems like this is an unpopular opinion but having children is brilliant.

Watching them grow up is such a privilege, mine are funny, bright and so clever and they make me laugh all the time. They're like little sponges who just want to learn and seeing the world through their eyes makes life worth living. Don't care what my body looks like after having them, and there's more to life than having a nice looking body. I enjoy spending money on them. The reward for having them is that you have these amazing little people in your life who you love more than anything else.

Also .. i don't care if people are a little bit irritated or inconvenienced by my children every now and again. "Children should be seen and not heard" is a Victorian attitude that's got no place in society.

I don't hate children. My working life has been either in teaching or back room education improvement support. I volunteer at educational organisations.

Children as individuals are fine like any other people. Children as a group deserve a lot of investment and consideration. That doesn't mean that having a child myself wouldn't thoroughly ruin my very pleasant life!

Also where else am I going to find a forum made up of majority British women like me?

I hate people who think I should ' take up a hobby ' I've never been one for hobbies at all.
I read and go to an exercise class but I don't class that as hobbies as such.
Mostly it was the cost that our me off doing anything for years and most things I like I'm
not that good at ( such as art or singing or dancing ) or it is mega expensive to do.

It's a forum by parents for parents. You've just said you hate kids. I mean, I wouldn't have said it to anyone else but you've literally said something that suggests you hate children. So why the fuck are you on a parenting forum if you hate children?

i understand your perspective, however these days its given the vast amount of threads on different topics id ask is there more than enough information to ignore the parenting threads ? (assuming a person wanted to)
