I hate travelling. Don’t like going on holidays and I don’t like staying in hotels.

Most people live boring average lives (myself included). So much feels pointless since we all end up in the same position in the end.

Life is dull most of the time.

Most marriages are like roommates with occasional sex thrown in.

And you? What uncommon opinions do you have?

I’ve never watched game of thrones, and have no desire too!

I love winter. Not the winter of films (crisp autumn days or deep snowdrifts, though I love those too) but the real winter: rain, wind, grey skies, hail, darker mornings and evenings. I like being outdoors in it, as well as cosying up afterwards.

Not at all keen on summer, I'd be perfectly happy without June, July and August tbh.

Forests are underrated and the coast is overrated.

I still like Yankee candles and Cadbury's chocolate.

Some MNers are obsessed with Covid tests. The answer to everything is do a LFT, including on toddlers. And if s test is negative, it must be faulty....

I like being invited to an Evening Reception for a wedding without my children. Or a whole day wedding without my children. Dont care if other children are there either, because they are closer to the bride and groom.

Hate most films, most are far too long.
Most holidays are not relaxing, especially when you have children.
Most tv presenters are rubbish - no personality and I wonder how they got their jobs.
I hate and detest tattoos. When I see people with them all over their arms, legs, necks I think they will wake up one day and say "why on earth did I do this to myself?"

I dislike sleeve tattoos. I'm not really a tattoo fan, but if someone has one I prefer discreet ones and not "in your face" ones.

I hate facial piercings.

Cadbury chocolate is the worst

Winter is the best season.

Fake “relatable” z list celebs like Stacy Solomon are annoying. They get credit for knocking ideas off Pinterest and being so relatable despite the fact they’re clearly loaded and they don’t actually live that way. So fake

I also really dislike that piercing between the lip and nostril it's horrible. I believe it's meant to be like a Marilyn Monroe beauty spot. But it looks terrible and chavvy and ruins a pretty face. I don't mean that horribly, but all women are so beautiful in their own way and that piercing and generally a lot of facial piercings look horrible.

My brother ruined his face with facial tattoos. When he is elderly he is going to look horrific

I hate travelling too. At least since I had kids. There’s no point going on holiday with kids. You still have to look after them, you can’t relax because you have to supervise them, it’s just the same old shit in a different location. I get more rest while they’re at school than I do on a family holiday.

I look at those cakes that have a huge amount of chocolate goodies or other sweets poured on top of them and think "that is lazy cake decorating, sickly and they can bake but not decorate."

Finding out the sex of your baby should be limited to knowing for medical reasons - I.e. Conditions that only affect one sex.

POAS threads where the OP is 3DPO (etc) should be auto removed from MN - nobody can tell you if you're pregnant that early, come on, just cool your jets and wait a week. Testing every day won't help you.
