Well, that LAST THREAD filled up much faster - so glad so many of us are finding this a place of comfort. How lucky we are to have so many of us on standby to hold our fears and worries, so that we can rest.

No questions asked, no solutions given, just the offer of a place to lay down our burdens. All are welcome.

@2018SoFarSoGreat Thank you so, so much - your words are very comforting.

2018SoFarSoGreat · 06/10/2021 06:12

@ssd I'm here and can help. You don't need to worry about either work or health for now. Leave it all here and cuddle in. If you can think of the snoring as waves on the shore, it can be quite a calm sound!

Its ok. You just snuggle in. That's it.

Thank you. I'll try Flowers

Becca19962014 · 06/10/2021 11:07

@2018SoFarSoGreat thankyou. Very ill today. Think I'm going to go to bed. Even if I don't sleep. Period from hell this month Sad

BabbleBee · 06/10/2021 12:05

@DramaAlpaca

I've got that for you *@BabbleBee*. Sorry your shift was awful, try and get some sleep now and clear your mind.
@DramaAlpaca thank you for holding onto my worries. It really helped and I’m feeling much better now.
bloodywhitecat · 06/10/2021 12:15

@MaverickDanger Hope your little one is OK and that you got some sleep.

ssd · 06/10/2021 12:17

@2018SoFarSoGreat, thanks again. I got a little bit more sleep. I'm awaiting results of something and I'm super anxious. I have health anxiety and its eating me alive. I know its stupid and unreasonable but its in the back of my mind constantly.

MaverickDanger · 06/10/2021 13:23

Thanks all, this is the most comforting corner.

He’s ok, feeling sorry for himself and just trying to keep him hydrated, while we try and figure out how we look after him & work for the rest of the week. We might do half days each.

I’ve had about 3 hours sleep over 2 stints since about 7am so more naps and an early night for me.

HerRoyalRisesAgain · 06/10/2021 13:25

Can I leave my worry here? DS1 has a cardiology appointment today

2018SoFarSoGreat · 06/10/2021 16:25

@HerRoyalRisesAgain leave it here. Hope all goes well and that DS and his mama are ok 🌺

Good news! No change to his heart, its still functioning well despite his leaky valves and his twisty artery is just twisty. Nothing has got any worse and just got to keep monitoring him to make sure it keeps up with him as he goes through puberty. I'm so relieved

2018SoFarSoGreat · 06/10/2021 16:58

@HerRoyalRisesAgain what lovely news - I'm so pleased for you both! Phew. Now you can go back to worrying about the normal things our lovely boys give us to keep us awake at night. Such a relief!

BreathingDeep · 06/10/2021 17:52

If this thread had a colour it would be the warmest, most comforting shade of pink. The warmth on here, the kindness and the care is just beautiful. Thank you all for being so gorgeous.

2018SoFarSoGreat · 06/10/2021 17:54

ah, thank you @BreathingDeep. My cheeks are a warm pink now - so happy that we can create a space that is safe, comforting and helpful. Tis a small duty, but one we are lucky to have.

I live threads like this. This is what MN is all about.

GenuineKlatchianPottery · 06/10/2021 22:27

Now that the nights are drawing in I will snuggle any worries up in my fleecy bedding alongside the cat.
I promise he won’t eat too many of them.
You can have a good sleep and leave them here until you are ready to collect them.

ssd · 07/10/2021 08:51

I'd love your cat to eat my worries @GenuineKlatchianPottery

He could have a good chew and then spit them out, best thing for them.

Becca19962014 · 07/10/2021 17:24

Housing situation update. They turned up unaccounted with fire brigade. They're now legally obliged to get rid of my stuff and I am terrified and in bits. They do not understand at all how terrifying it is. In the end I just agreed to anything they said to get rid of them. But I can't cope at all. I've already had a stress induced seizure. They spoke to social services and they don't want to know.

I'm so terrified. I can't have men, anyone in here. I just can't and I can't face getting rid of anything. Everything feels so unsafe and a mess.

And I can't cope at all.

HerRoyalRisesAgain · 07/10/2021 17:26

becca that sounds really scary. You have my email if you need to vent Flowers

Becca19962014 · 07/10/2021 17:26

*unannounced

Becca19962014 · 07/10/2021 17:26

You sure? I'm in a bad way.

HerRoyalRisesAgain · 07/10/2021 17:27

Of course I'm sure. I may not be a le to do anything practical to help, but I can be a listening ear (reading eye?)

Becca19962014 · 07/10/2021 17:29

Ok

2018SoFarSoGreat · 07/10/2021 17:32

oh @Becca19962014 that sounds so frightening for you. I'm so sorry. Maybe once this is done they'll let you be?

@HerRoyalRisesAgain how kind you are.

sending hugs to you, dear Becca.
