Nice food things from m&s

Home alone without kids for the next few days. Going to treat myself to a few nice easy dinners/snacks from m&s. Am ordering from ocado so not going to the shop

What would people recommend? I don't shop there often!

Not a food Puritan at all. I’ve tried several M&S ready meals on recommendation and was disappointed by all of them. Bland.

Their gastropub chicken Kiev and the best ever trifle would be my recommendations. Now off to m and s to try the gastropub Mac cheese people are recommending.

I think the trifle is dire, good homemade trifle is so easy to make ND besides it must be boozy

OP did ask for recommendations of easy meals though so she is hardly likely to want to cook from scratch.

the ready made egg mayo
all of the hummus (and the ready cut carrot bâtons)
the apple hot cross buns
the picnic eggs

the hot poached salmon flakes, if they still do them

Dolly Mixture
the bag of chocolate caramels that are like a better, giant version of Cadbury's eclairs

The Welsh rarebit cheese bake, although not sure that's on ocado, might be in store only.

The mountain bar chocolate is surprisingly good. (Contains ground hazlenuts).

Ooh yes! It’s a little longer than the ordinary eclairs and has a chocolate ganache in the middle with the cream. When I’m feeling very indulgent I’ll put strawberry slices in the middle too…

I honestly can’t understand why people think M&S processed food is good? Homemade is generally so much tastier. Packaged food is so bland.

Why on earth would you bother commenting on this post? The OP asked for suggestions of M and S food- not sanctimonious criticism of her food choices.

The frozen oriental prawn selection, with sweet chilli sauce to dip into.

Oh god so many things!! My personal favourites are the mini chocolate orange bites / mini roll things and the lemon curd / iced buns. And the all butter chocolate chip cookies. So bloody good!!

They used to do amazing cheesy bacon wedges but haven’t seen them in a while.
