Man sprawled on front step. WWYD?

I live in a flat and when the takeaway man came over an hour ago he said a man was banging on the front door and vomiting everywhere (Angry)

Looking out I can see the man is still sitting sprawled across our front step. I moved in 4 months ago and have met all neighbours apart from one, a man. So it could well be him. He hasn't buzzed any of the other flats and he's just sitting there. It will get dark soon. I don't know for sure he lives here but seems probable.

WWYD? I don't want to deal with it at all but feel some sympathy

Not caught up with the thread but last few posts are interesting to say the least!

I would have shouted out the window (she said she could see him) and see if he showed any sign of response.

I mean if he was keeled over.

Sitting up smoking well so what really. He'll sober up a bit/ be able to stand up and go.

If he looked conked out and didn't respond / react in any way to sudden shout from window. I'd go down and see what was what. If he was totally unconscious I'd call an ambulance. (Doubt they'd come round here tbh though). I mean he's hardly going to lie on the floor in a load of puke outside some flats on the offchance of attacking a woman (or man) is he!

I always poke drunk heavily asleep men on the tube (and women) as it's the end of the line.

I have checked on people- men and women- who are in a right state etc. Also rough sleepers if something looks v wrong.

I'm a feminist incidentally the previous post said something about that.

I couldn't just leave an unconscious person lying in their own vomit. They can be robbed, attacked in various ways, and of course can die .

This bloke just sounds really pissed though rather than at risk of death. To me.

@NiceGerbil oh that's definitely different if someone was passed out, people would check; but the man was shouting, vomiting and vaping and worried OP.
