I have left the curtains in the top bedroom closed to keep the sun off the room Grin

DS now requires a lift to college as I flat out refused to pay the frankly exorbitant school bus pass fee.

As I work shifts I'm often in bed for drop offs / pick ups and usually throw a hoody on top over my PJ bottoms. As DS has two perfectly functioning legs I am not required to leave the car, and can therefore return hone and roll back into bed with very little delay.

DH (who would definitely be on MN if he knew how) always frets that the car will break down or I'll be in an accident. He's aghast that in either situation I'm really not bothered Grin

Bought dd a pair of school shoes because she's outgrown her pair 3 wks before summer break. Ffs. I bought a half size bigger and insoles to accommodate summer growth. Hmm

As loads of people around me are making noise (courtesy of some kind of sporting event I believe Wink), I'm about to go in my hot tub and have my floating speaker playing music and flashing lights! When in Rome.....
I'm off-setting this against the fact that I've been back on my treadmill today for the first time in two months due to injury, so am thinking I will be absolved of all sin? Confused

This isn't something I did today, but I did realise today after looking at the Baby Names topic that I hadn't thought, for one minute, about whether or not my DCs' (I have 5) names 'went well' together. Not for a minute. Not a second's thought of "Ah, what goes with older siblings name(s)?" when naming them.
I don't think they suffered from this.
