Today's crime for me . i am listening to Davina McCall's podcast. It's great.

LarsErickssong · 25/06/2021 09:52

Well I've had ANOTHER McDonald's day today and I'll probably do 75mph on the motorway later.

Bryonyshcmyony · 25/06/2021 09:54

Ha ha about driving!

And I don't even have a door on my ensuite! Think of the poo particles!

0ntheg0again · 25/06/2021 10:05

Still friends with school mums from Primary days and never experienced any bitching

Love my MIL

My dog growled at my DS when he was annoying him and I haven't put him down

0ntheg0again · 25/06/2021 10:06

I've got a long motorway trip this afternoon. I am thinking of crimes I could commit. Maybe a Maccies at the services on the M5. Grin Or go through the drive through Costa instead of taking a flask.

I live in London and own (and drive) a SUV.

My DC watched their devices whilst eating breakfast this morning.

In a minute I'm going to go and clean the toilets in the house, using the extremely useful brushes I keep next to them.

bigglewig · 25/06/2021 10:27

I put on a bra this morning that was not freshly laundered. 7 days since its last wash and it feel so good. Grin

Sparklingbrook · 25/06/2021 10:29

I am picking my PFB up from university later for a short stay and I have told him to bring all the washing he can find and I will do it all for him and he can take it back ironed too. I'll probably pay for his food shop when I take him back too.

KarenofSparta · 25/06/2021 10:31

Shocking behaviour on your part there Sparkling :)

I know. If I do it all quick over a couple of days i can resume MN rules early next week and go back to being miserable. Grin

I do that and enjoy it too

We have been on mn long enough to know that NOT throwing them out onto the streets at 18 is ridiculous Grin

I chatted with my neighbour about how we will manage the hedge on our shared boundary... and completely forgot to seethe, send anonymous notes, log it with 101, or seek a free half hour of legal advice.

Sparklingbrook · 25/06/2021 11:12

I love the food shop bit @ssd. 'If you want it have it' I say repeatedly as we go around the supermarket. Grin

Bryonyshcmyony · 25/06/2021 11:13

My dd is returning from uni tomorrow and I'm going shopping to buy all her favourite foods plus I've just rung the hairdresser to make an appointment for her. She somehow manages to remain perfectly able to live independently.

Diagram Dutch1e, you forgot the all important diagram :)
vodkaredbullgirl · 25/06/2021 11:24

Smoked in the car, when taking my dd to work.

Pinuporc · 25/06/2021 11:27

My year 10 is doing exams this week and comes home for lunch.yesterday I asked her what she had for lunch , when I got home , apparently they just had "snacks" which turned out to be a choc chip muffin and a giant bag of buttons, and I wasnt sufficiently appalled.

vodkaredbullgirl · 25/06/2021 11:29

Went food shopping and got a load of snacks.

ClawedButler · 25/06/2021 12:16

I don't mind if people park outside my house.

I say words like cunt.

I don't use bleach, ever - won't have it in the house. It's corrosive, it's no more effective than hot water for most things, and it's horrible for the environment.

There are bacteria everywhere, and I don't try to kill them all.

My DH does annoying things sometimes yet I have never a) called 101 to log the incident or b) tried to get my free half hour with a solicitor.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 25/06/2021 12:18

my teenager is cooking dinner
he did all the prep and also emptied dishwasher & hoovered up.
not a word of discontent

ClawedButler · 25/06/2021 12:19

What?? Some of you have offspring aged over 10 who you like treating nicely?? And don't expect them to give you all their earnings, cook, clean, and burble effusive gratitude for the privilege?!

You bastards!

ClawedButler · 25/06/2021 12:20

Ooh, I encourage my parents to spend their retirement funds on holidays, champagne and luxury goods and thoroughly enjoy doing so.

I know, right? my 19yo came down to eat, gave me a big hug and said "I love you mamma". I was then starting to pull away so he hugged me tighter and said "love me more!" 🤣

true story!
