I have left the curtains in the top bedroom closed to keep the sun off the room Grin

OP posts:

I have a toilet brush in every single toilet in my house.

I keep coats in the downstairs loo.

I let my kids play Nintendo this morning while they ate their breakfast.

I keep my downstairs blinds closed in the day.

We have a trampoline and I am considering getting fake grass (and hopefully my neighbours cat will stop using it as a toilet)

Later I'm going to do something to help my 18 year old dd, something that she could easily do herself. I'm going to do it because I love her and I have no worries that doing it will mean that she grows up entitled, spoilt and unable to cope with being independent.

SD1978 · 23/06/2021 09:08

Had a barbecue and didn't give the neighbours 2 days notice in case they wanted to hang washing out.

romdowa · 23/06/2021 09:08

Left washing out over night in the rain 😨😨😨😨

Crowsandshivers · 23/06/2021 09:08

Washing on the line from yesterday. Can't remember when I last changed the beds and I fed my kids chocolate muffins for breakfast. Whoops.

I helped 19 year old DS yesterday. Terrible I know. It was regarding his pension I think I’ll get points back for that surely?
FelicityPike · 23/06/2021 09:14

I bought stuff from Amazon. 3 days in a row.

Landslidelife · 23/06/2021 09:15

My neighbour has left her washing out all night.
However mines much worse - I haven't given ds a duvet day because he didn't want to go to school.

Baypony · 23/06/2021 09:15

It’s 9.15am and my 18mo has already had a jaffa cake!

vodkaredbullgirl · 23/06/2021 09:16

Still in my pj's and intend in staying in them all day.

Fiercestcalm · 23/06/2021 09:16

I haven’t washed the kitchen floor today ( and it has the imprint of zoomy doggy paw prints near the door).

We ate two day out of date WomBok Choi for our supper and we are very much alive. We also ate dried pasta ( cooked it obs).

We plan to have a bar each of Cadbury chocolate for a snack ( the chocolate that hasn’t been organically reared by a tribe of ethical nuns who personally supervise the picking of each cacao bean and stroke oranguatans while they sing majestically in the rainforest).

I told the neighbours children to stop picking elderly neighbours flowers in a direct way and didn’t fiddle fiddle about.

Frogsonglue · 23/06/2021 09:17

Haven't had a shower, because I had one yesterday.

Penguinandduck · 23/06/2021 09:20

I dropped my kids off at the childminders at 7.30 so that she could take them to school, even though I could have done it myself as I don’t have to start until 9 today (and am in fact on mumsnet rather than working hard Grin)

Tangledtresses · 23/06/2021 09:22

I threw 2 chicken carcasses away because I couldn't be bothered to make stock
I did the school drop off in yesterday's clothes
Had a fag

vodkaredbullgirl · 23/06/2021 09:24

The washing up is still in the sink from last night, filled the sink at least 3 times so far.

Comedycook · 23/06/2021 09:26

Packed my teenagers school bag and picked his clothes up from his bedroom floor and washed them....I know most mumsnetters kids are doing their own washing from about 18 months!

mumonthehill · 23/06/2021 09:27

I got a chicken out to roast, it definitely will not do 10 meals, in fact I am beginning to wonder if it is big enough to feed 4 adults for 1 meal!!

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 23/06/2021 09:27

my teenagers have also sinned.
they hugged me, kissed me and said they loved me.

whatever next?!

roobicoobi · 23/06/2021 09:28

I drove my P7 to school. It's less than a mile away. I would love to tell you we usually walk 🙈

emmathedilemma · 23/06/2021 09:29

I've had a snack (as well as already having had breakfast). I must be over my 400 calories a day limit already!

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 23/06/2021 09:31

DS5 made me laugh and I didn't spit coffee all over.

he made a joke: "if you buy a bigger bed you'll get more bed room but a smaller bedroom!"
🤣

NakedNugget · 23/06/2021 09:32

I drove my Range Rover on the school run

Sparklingbrook · 23/06/2021 09:34

I am about to put a wash on. It consists of my clothes and also those of DH and DS2.
Obviously I should just do mine due to MN rules of not doing anyone else’s laundry.
Especially the teenage DS who will grow up incapable now. Sad

Topseyt · 23/06/2021 09:34

I have two workmen in my house today fitting a much needed new shower. I will allow them to use the toilet as and when they need to rather than sending them out to the local public toilets which are in the middle of a car park in our village.

It may be a two day job, so I will sin again tomorrow and allow the same. 😎🤣

GameSetMatch · 23/06/2021 09:36

My children bounce on their trampoline in the garden!
