SaraMumsnet · 21/06/2021 06:13

Hi everyone
Welcome to the annual Mumsnet Prime Day thread. This is where we’ll share the best deals we can find over the Prime Day period, and where we encourage you to share your finds too. We know Amazon isn’t for everyone, but if you’re after some bargains then put a watch on the thread and be sure to let us know if you’re after something in particular - we’ll be more than happy to hunt down a deal for you if we can. You do need to be a Prime member to take advantage of the deals, so if you want to sign up, click [[https://amzn.to/2SRHb7w
here]] to get started.

Plus, if you fancy getting deals straight to your inbox, we’ll be sending out a special edition of our Money Saver newsletter llater this morning with a roundup of the best discounts we’ve found. Click here to visit your newsletter preference centre and sign up.

Here's our pick of the best deals we've come across so far - we will post more throughout the day and don't forget that Prime Day carries on tomorrow so we'll be back then too.

Amazon eero Pro mesh Wi-Fi router/extender £97, was £149

eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 30C £153, was £290 (take a look at this thread about Eufy Robovacs here)

A Mumsnet favourite Grin - Finish All-in-One Max Dishwasher Tablets £11, was £26

Here's some information about Prime Day - when it is, what you can expect and also how to cancel Prime so you don’t get tied into an annual subscription if you don’t want one.

This year, Prime Day falls on the 21st and 22nd June - meaning that Prime customers can access exclusive deals - some to rival those seen on Black Friday weekend. Prime plans cost £79 for a year, or £7.99 a month. There's a 30-day free trial (sign up here) if you don’t want to commit to membership but want to take advantage of the great deals.
If you don’t want to pay for Prime after your free trial has ended, you can follow our handy guide on how to cancel Prime.

FYI, if you recommend deals on the thread, we might add a link into your post if we think it would be helpful to other users.

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).

@DianeCherry

Has anyone seen a robot mower?
This is the only one I can see at the moment @DianeCherry - the Flymo one. It's £533 (was previously £650) for a 500m square 'cutting area' (you can size up to 800m sq or down to 150m sq depending on the size of your garden).

Potentially a bit too broad but I would be interested in any good baby equipment deals, nightlights, crib monitors, beside me cribs, bottle sets, breast pumps etc. Expecting in September and bought barely anything but clothes and muslins so far.

ShinySquirrel · 21/06/2021 11:37

This might be oddly specific, but I need a see-through bread bin. It doesn't need to be completely see-through, but I do need to see at a glance what's inside.

It doesn't even have to be a bread bin - any random box or display thing would do!

Oh! I almost forgot! We need a new kitchen bin.

I have no idea what size, but massive is preferred. I don't care if it's a pedal or touch-lid.

Try the OXO Good Grips canisters. They have a few on deal today! We use a large one for bread.
DianeCherry · 21/06/2021 11:49

Thanks @SaraMumsnet, I just saw that. Looks like I'll be sticking with the petrol mower for a while!

However I did treat myself to this! www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08JYT64JF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?psc=1&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&ie=UTF8

One of those robot vacuums. Great reviews and only £79.99!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 21/06/2021 11:49

We're after camping equipment if anyone sees any good deals. We have tent, airbeds and camping stove, but anything else would be handy! Esp a cool box, folding chairs/table etc.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 21/06/2021 12:25

OtherPlans · 21/06/2021 12:28

I'm after decent exercise trainers (thanks to advice on style and beauty yesterday). Any deals on adidas/asics/brooks/hoka/saucony etc?

And there's a NSFW version of Exploding Kittens for £14 (was £20)

@ImNotReallyHere There's a treadmill reduced to £376 here (from £479). Or the Bluefin Fitness CURV 2.0 Elliptical Cross Trainer here is £470 (was £599). Though this cross trainer is a lot cheaper and not in the Prime Day sale!

@babyguffingtonstrikesagain Loads of camping bits on offer here if that's any good - can't see a cool box on that page but will have a proper look around for one shortly.

@Gizlotsmum Just gleefully thought I'd found you one for the princely sum of £13, but it turned out to be a firepit cover . In terms of actual firepits, there's this one for £55 (down from £75) if that's any good.

PS post edited to actually add the firepit link
