Prime Day 2021: find great deals here

SaraMumsnet · 21/06/2021 06:13

Hi everyone
Welcome to the annual Mumsnet Prime Day thread. This is where we’ll share the best deals we can find over the Prime Day period, and where we encourage you to share your finds too. We know Amazon isn’t for everyone, but if you’re after some bargains then put a watch on the thread and be sure to let us know if you’re after something in particular - we’ll be more than happy to hunt down a deal for you if we can. You do need to be a Prime member to take advantage of the deals, so if you want to sign up, click [[https://amzn.to/2SRHb7w
here]] to get started.

Plus, if you fancy getting deals straight to your inbox, we’ll be sending out a special edition of our Money Saver newsletter llater this morning with a roundup of the best discounts we’ve found. Click here to visit your newsletter preference centre and sign up.

Here's our pick of the best deals we've come across so far - we will post more throughout the day and don't forget that Prime Day carries on tomorrow so we'll be back then too.

Amazon eero Pro mesh Wi-Fi router/extender £97, was £149

eufy BoostIQ RoboVac 30C £153, was £290 (take a look at this thread about Eufy Robovacs here)

A Mumsnet favourite Grin - Finish All-in-One Max Dishwasher Tablets £11, was £26

Ninja Foodi MAX Health Grill and Air Fryer £150, was £250

Fitbit Versa 2 Health & Fitness Smartwatch with Voice Control £120, was £200

NIP+FAB No Needle Fix £10, was £20

Philips Lumea Prestige IPL Cordless Hair Removal Device £270, was £450

Tommee Tippee Complete Feeding Set £54, was £160

Logitech G432 Wired Gaming Headset £35, was £70

LEGO 60197 City Passenger Train Set £71, was £120

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 12.3? Tablet (Black) £749, was £1169

Here's some information about Prime Day - when it is, what you can expect and also how to cancel Prime so you don’t get tied into an annual subscription if you don’t want one.

This year, Prime Day falls on the 21st and 22nd June - meaning that Prime customers can access exclusive deals - some to rival those seen on Black Friday weekend. Prime plans cost £79 for a year, or £7.99 a month. There's a 30-day free trial (sign up here) if you don’t want to commit to membership but want to take advantage of the great deals.
If you don’t want to pay for Prime after your free trial has ended, you can follow our handy guide on how to cancel Prime.

FYI, if you recommend deals on the thread, we might add a link into your post if we think it would be helpful to other users.

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).

I'm hoping for a deal on the Sony wf-1000xm4 headphones 🤞

ElfDragon · 21/06/2021 10:37

I’m after inspiration, please

It’s a fairly tricky one (but if you don’t ask, you don’t get, right?)

It’s dd’s birthday soon, and I’m all out of ideas. She’s going to be 16, but has ASD and learning difficulties. She doesn’t really play with toys or puzzles. She likes books (Mog, Winnie the Witch, Julia Donaldson) but we have all those. She will play some games on the Wii or the Switch, but only a few and it’s not her favourite thing.

Anyone seen anything that might be good? (A wide field, I appreciate!).

She likes painting her nails, but has every colour of nail polish plus a air blower/dryer already.

She wants an Alexa (she likes playing the song quizzes), so that’s on the list, but otherwise I’m stumped.

SaraMumsnet · 21/06/2021 10:55

50% off the Echo Dot 4th Generation £25, was £50

I’m also hoping for a Yoto player. I can see the Tonie box is on offer so hoping the Yoto follows!

ElfDragon · 21/06/2021 10:57

Thank you for suggestions (I know that’s not really what this thread is for!)

E-reader/yoto wouldn’t really be her thing - she needs to be with people and be interacting with them rather than doing stuff on her own.

Ringfit is something I have thought of. She loves Wiifit and family trainer on the Wii, but not so keen on Switch sports games we have - I think the more basic style and interface of the Wii suits her better - the switch games have all moved on with complexity and so are harder for her to achieve. But it is a possibility.

BabyPink1 · 21/06/2021 10:58

I’m looking for some wireless ear buds. I don’t want anything expensive as I don’t need them everyday. Any recommendations? Thank you!

I have just treated myself to the shark mentioned earlier. Our dyson is on its last legs so hoping this is as good as people say….

(On a side note, when did buying a Hoover become a treat…. Confused)

BabyPink1 · 21/06/2021 11:11

@SaraMumsnet thank you! I will have a look.

whitershadeofpale · 21/06/2021 11:15

I have the Shark and it's brilliant. Only criticism is that it's a bit heavy.

I'm looking for an 8gb ram laptop, wary of refurbished as my last one died a week after the warranty period.

Has anyone seen any deals on noise cancelling headphones? Or birthday present ideas for 3 year old boy?
