I was given a box of chocolates for my birthday, have just opened then and I can't believe I have never tried them...

Monty bojangles berry burst - they are raspberry flavoured with popping candy, and so absolutely delicious.

Anyone want to share any other delicious discoveries ?

When I read the title I thought it was Monty :)
The red Lindt balls are also a big favourite.

@Colstina

Dumle , I love them , think there a Swedish chocolate and only have been able to get them at the airport :(
Fazer-Finnish I think.

I think I've seen them here in Germany but never tried them!

Have you looked at Aldi/Lidl at all?

UnluckyMe · 25/06/2021 18:40

@Suzypoo10

Montezuma’s milk chocolate bar with lime and chilli. Sainsbury’s used to sell it, but I have’t been able to get it for a while.
I went to Brighton and saw a Montezuma shop there if you're anywhere near Brighton!

BumCat · 25/06/2021 18:42

I knew this was going to be about Monty Bojangles 😂

Those and cookie moon are perfection.

Colstina · 25/06/2021 18:45

@ diddl

You must try them….. honest ! they sound pretty boring , toffee one caramel but they are soooo good.
I think IKEA sell them as well , but it’s a trip there just for chocs I haven’t managed . I may have a look in Lidl I’ve checked Aldi and they wasn’t there …. Sadly

FrauleinF · 25/06/2021 18:46

Aldi were selling limited edition 2 packs of Moser Roth chocolate filled with either strawberry cheesecake or cookies and cream. Can confirm both were divine, and a steal for the price.

I think I may actually have only seem bags of toffees.

Do they do a bar as well?

Chocolate Brazil mis-shapes are my chocolate win. Just amazing as the chocolate is so thick in places. I hardly ever find them (Home Bargains or Pound Land are the only places so far)..and when I do I feel too guilty to buy more than one bag. When I do find them again, I will buy loads and give them to DH to hide.

Ritter Alpine milk chocolate. Last time it was in Lidl I bought four bars!

Permanentlymildlymiffed · 25/06/2021 19:01

Anything and everything Venchi but particularly their caviar range and their salted pistachio bars.

magicflange · 25/06/2021 19:14

Had that with Aldi’s Salted pretzel chocolate

supperlover · 25/06/2021 19:27

Traidcraft white chocolate with muscovado sugar. Delicious and fair trade. Any cocoa which is not fair trade may have used slave labour in their cocoa farms. I visited the cocoa farm in Ghana which produces cocoa for Divine chocolate. Amazing to see benefits for local community.

Ddot · 25/06/2021 19:28

Lindt orange and almond dark, yum yum, oh and holand and barrett decadent dates but be careful their addictive.

Auntpodder · 25/06/2021 19:29

So not Real Chocolate but Hema's white chocolate with hundreds and thousands plus bits of ice cream cone has the power to make me very happy sometimes.

Coniferhedge · 25/06/2021 19:30

Ritter Sport Marzipan, Mint or Coconut for me. I wish you could get more flavours in the UK. I would love to go to the main factory to try them all!

StrangeLookingParasite · 25/06/2021 19:37

No need to travel to Paris, there is a branch at Coals Drop Yard in Kings Cross.

Ooh awesome, try the ganaches, they are the absolute best.

SciFiFan · 25/06/2021 19:38

@diddl

I quite like Aldi smoove & Marabou chocolate.
Thank you I was hoping someone would remind me of the name of marabou chocolate. Off to see if I can buy some now Smile
Titterofwit · 25/06/2021 19:41

@ Cherrysoup Ive had to go to Lidl because of this thread! I bought some of the chocolate covered pineapple and coconut sticks and also some coconut covered peanuts to take with me to a friends lunch party tomorrow. I hope they go down well.

The popping candy ones are vile. But the flutterscotch is very nice.
