OMG chocolate discovery - where have these been all my life

I was given a box of chocolates for my birthday, have just opened then and I can't believe I have never tried them...

Monty bojangles berry burst - they are raspberry flavoured with popping candy, and so absolutely delicious.

Anyone want to share any other delicious discoveries ?

Austrian Mozart balls (I forget the real name).

Mozartkugeln. Yes - best chocolates ever.

I got some Bojangles chocolate for Christmas one year. Was so excited as I'd heard how good it was. It wasn't. It was greasy and nasty.

I love ritter sport in all and any flavour. We always used to have a bar after a days scuba diving on holiday as an "after dive pick me up" so I feel all kinds of wrong if I buy it now Hmm

Aldi do a lovely dark chocolate and sour cherry bar. At least they did. I haven't seen it for a while.

Lovely DS2 bought himself a bar of white chocolate with oreo in this week. Little darling saved me half. I don't really like white chocolate though so it's in the fridge Blush

Lidl had a version of the Mozart recently. TK Maxx often have the proper German marzipans, especially around Christmas. Their food section is amazing, actually!
Leonidas cherry liqueurs in the red foil are hard to beat. But I love Mon Cheri, too!

I’ve had to resort to white chocolate of late, Ciao. Real chocolate is giving me bad headaches. It’s heartbreaking!

If you ever come to Paris, or have someone who can buy you things from here, get some ganaches from Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse, Manufacture à Paris, in rue de la Roquette (near Bastille).

The best chocolate ever.

M&s dulce de leche truffles, oh my! also loved their chocolate coated salted pecans last year, their chocolate just never disappoints.

Aldi's Truffle au chocolat bar, tastes just like milk chocolate Lindor if not better!

Also agree with white chocolate Lindors, or even better, the Stracciatella ones!

I had just been googling trying to find the name of that thing! I LOVE them! So nostalgic as well as they used to be my mums favourite, we'd sit there and eat them all together

I agree. DH once brought me some Alain Ducasse truffles back from Paris (a small box of four little bars), and they were absolutely the best chocolate I have ever tried.

@Cherrysoup

Weird and quite niche, probably, Lidl’s chocolate covered coconut and pineapple flavour sticks. Liquid (not alcohol) inside. Best kept in the fridge.

I bought these the other day- strangely moreish! Mine are in the freezer Smile

Nooooo... I don't hate white chocolate but find it too sweet so can only eat a couple of squares at a time. Mind you that's not a bad thing.

Interested in the love for Ritter sport. I always thought it was for sporty people so have never tried it Grin. Might have to give it a go.

Ritter sports are delicious, I like the coconut one which our Waitrose used to sell but they stopped selling it about a year ago

@Ereshkigalangcleg , you can buy prunes in chocolate at any Polish food shop in UK - at least, any where I've tried.

I've avoided those because the packaging is just so ugly and names are so unbearably twee ("choccie scoffy"? Honestly!)... but then again I thought that Candy Kittens sounded twee and it annoyed me they were created by some knobber off of a reality show but now I'm so addicted I can only buy them in the smallest packs because I can't trust myself.

that's why I tell my partner he can't have any of mine... he's not sporty at all but I play tennis and cycle and do rock climbing so it's OK for me. Especially the coconut one and the cornflake one.

I had never heard of Beech's chocs @WelshDaffodil but thanks to you I've paid Bezos even more money and he's bringing me two boxes tomorrow - pineapple and also violet creams.

I also love those Manon chocs.

Hate the Booja Booja ones and amazed at all of you who love those Mon Cheri horrors.

Quite like Ritter Sport but honestly the older I get (late 40s) the more disappointing I find most chocolate is. Sad really.

Ooh thank you. Never looked! I like pierogi but have never thought to look at the chocs.

I used to order from NomNom in Wales but they've gone out of business Sad

Also used to love lots of the Ritter Sport flavours when we lived in Germany - there was an almond one that was great!

I'd love to find a plain chocolate with liquid caramel in the middle if anyone has any leads - extra points if they ship to the EU or it's an international brand (we have Aldi and Lidl though they don't always sell the same things as in the U.K. (Sorry for the hijack OP)
