Well perhaps this may make people laugh, after christmas shopping and treating myself to a rather expensive pack of 6 voluptuous beef sausages......yes guys sausages from the infamous department store 'H' (cost me near to a tenner I might add!) I was so looking forward to my delicious butty after cooking them only to find they were like fire crackers of popping hot globules of fat and water that covered my entire Aga, kitchen units and floor making it look like a swimming arena of fat. After quickly mopping around to save anyone breaking their legs, I found what was left frazzled up skin with whatever remained left inside looking like strings of spaghetti 😄 think il stick to my local butchers in future! And on a positive note lots of work today, cant believe it

@Carousel2: Oh dear 'H' let you down. I just buy Tesco sausages. Really, though, I would have been distraught. I can see the picture ... mess would have sent me into a complete anxiety attack. Yes lots of work available, yeah.

It appears the person in question had several accounts running at the same time (I had to Google sock puppet). I have no words for what has been said on this thread today and leave it down to you all to make your own minds up.

I would like to thank all the people on here for their supportive words in what is a difficult and sometimes lonely job especially when things can be difficult in personal life too. Hope all have a good Christmas and the New Year is a better one.

What on earth is going on? Our friendly little group seems to be going potty. What a shame…..I would hate to see the group collapse as I for one really cherish this group 😘

@wfh21 I'm glad you are still here, thanks for posting the message from Mumsnet. I think we all had our suspicions about that person, and she really did just want to fire things up.

@wfh21 - bless you, I felt sickened when you said you were leaving. It was so obvious they were just provoking the situation but like you said some of the accusations was beyond belief and very disturbing. Ive been part of this group for years and all of a sudden these horrible posts appear to cause trouble. Well done for not giving in and thank goodness for mumsnet guidelines and the fact they can suspend the trouble.makers. Hope this doesnt spoil your Christmas. Try to forget the nastiness of what has gone on they dont deserve anymore time spent on them and again thank you for taking the time to get that horrible person stopped🌲🌲🌲😊

@wfh21: Well, well, I have never heard of 'sock-puppetting' either ... I had wondered if there were people who could have multiple accounts but I couldn't fathom any reason why one would want do that. Moving forwards, have a great day Christmas and New Year; COVID willing.

I think this was/is an awful thing to do: A sock puppet - a false online identity, typically created by a person or group in order to promote their own opinions or views.

I have just have not stopped thinking about this all morning. I hope the person is ashamed of their alter-ego's whoever they may be. Unbelievable stress caused to people on here. My heart goes out to all affected by this ridiculous tirade .

I think we've all learned some new terminology on here now - Sockpuppetitis! I began to suspect that one person may be using different usernames as three in particular seemed to use similar terms and styles of writing and two that haven't been seen on our threads before appeared to have been created to support the other one. I got really fed up with it though before I realised what was happening and decided to cancel my account as I felt I was being drawn into a slanging match, but when I read the post thrashing everybody, especially wfh21, I got concerned and felt I had to come back, but couldn't use my original username with one 5, so had to come back as Whitestar55 - just in case anyone is wondering. I hope everyone's ok, it's been a learning experience for me and hopefully none of us will fall for that sort of behaviour again. Well done wfh21 for exposing it.

@whitestar55: here, here, thoroughly shocked by the whole saga and my heart does go out to @wfh21 and @Galley123 and @carousel2, particularly + anyone else affected.

@Whitestar55 @danblack87 thank you for your support and kind words. I read through the comments made on the thread by a person again and found some discrepancies in the narrative. There was a passive aggressive nature that seemed designed to ignite response especially in regard to pay, specialties and skill, all of which have been discussed at length on here. When reference was made to cyber bulling and the extreme response from the other two I wondered why ? especially as someone pointed out this is merely an outlet to blow off steam about work, all of which would be said day in and day out in an office based environment. I question who/what would want to take the time to create 2/3 accounts on such a thread (sorry ladies but we are not that exciting are we !! ) and try to insinuate that many on here are cyberbullies not worthy of an opinion about where we source our work from. Based on the strong affiliation this person (s) had to one company worked for one comes to their own conclusion.
