@Gally123 and @Chrissols: Just got the call - ultrasound all clear, blood all clear, urine all clear. Dr prescribing me more codeine. Going to see him next Tuesday to see how I am doing and take it from there. Got diarrhoea now 'grim'.

@danblack87 - classic good news/bad news.

Good news - all the tests are clear
bad news - we don't know what the problem is.

Keep your chin up, process of elimination, but sounds likely to be something not too major.

Could the diarrhoea be a side effect of the painkillers? (Although I know that is more usually constipation).

@Gally123: Codeine gave me constipation but I would rather have that than compulsive repeated diarrhoea Sad ... at least I can go out to the shop then AND I mate even make it to the surgery next Tuesday without having a nasty accident on the way LOL Smile!!

Is it just me, but when typing and having to google the spelling of doctors names is anyone else interested when the website show photos of the consultants? Do you then get distracted looking at the various mug shots and think they often look different to how you imagined they would?

Hi guys just wondering if you could give me some info on t-pro. I have applied and just wondering how much on a good week or month you could potentially earn part time 10-20 hours a week? I know it’s hard to say but rough ideas would be great. Thanks Smile

@ShanJG there is good money to be made with Tpro, easiest dictation by far and tons of work

Thanks so much for your reply. Is the work very regular then? As obviously with dict8 you can only do one job at a time and you need to get it quick before the jobs are gone. Does t-pro have a continuous stream? Possibility to do evening work/weekends? Thanks

@ShanJG yes, never a shortage with Tpro and you can keep five back for yourself at any time…..you don’t need to though as there is plenty of work.

not had any notifications of the recent messages! Not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Surprised the powers that be did not remove the messages touting for employees as they have before for breaching regulations.

Has anyone watched the video DICT8 emailed round this afternoon? I am waiting until later when I have the beer and crisps ready.

I've watched the video - taken with a liberal pinch of salt esp the bit where the woman says when a doctor dictates a large number of letters they all get jumbled up so that no-one typist gets them all - how many times have we face all five tasks being the same rotten dictator?

Also note that the comments section on You tube has been turned off as DICT8 obviously do not want people saying they do not believe/agree with the clip.

@danblack87 - I think the reason various people think that DICT8 have found this thread is that the person "Jan" offering transcription work gives an email for people to contact her but does not give a company name or any details for us to be able to identify the company and look it up on google etc, hence possibly best not to email her.
