Anyone else seen the news?? Another baby on the way, relationship on the rocks, or good old fashioned age gap love?

My son had a friend at school whose dad was married six times! ( I've forgotten about him)
(Most People I know stop at two)

BlatantlyNameChanged · 30/05/2021 13:59

I know someone who has been married five times, at their last wedding my grandmother sniffily remarked "he must like the taste of wedding cake".

Serpenta · 30/05/2021 14:26

Imagine congratulating someone on being bride/groom No.5 or 6.

'Oh I hope you two have a very happy, ummmm, 18 months life together'.

Nat6999 · 30/05/2021 14:44

How long before they go their separate ways? Knowing Boris can't keep it in his pants he will probably be shagging someone else soon.

midsomermurderess · 30/05/2021 14:45

He did have a brief window of attractiveness. And that is all some of us, some people, have.

If only young stunningly people were allowed to be married then there would be a rapid drop in the number of weddings.
the80sweregreat · 30/05/2021 14:53

If you can only get married if your good looking or stunning , then I would still be very much single :)

TheFormidableMrsC · 30/05/2021 14:57

So he cheated on his first wife with his second wife and then cheated on his second wife with his now third wife. Does Carrie think she has a magic vagina or something? 🤔

TheWeeDonkey · 30/05/2021 15:07

Jesus those pictures. Secret wedding? It looks like it was a surprise to BoJ too!

Meanwhile, as the NHS vaccination roll-out continues to be successful, pressure on the NHS remains intense - because of related effects of the pandemic.

Is the government - with our Prime Minister at its helm - seriously devoting time to planning around this?

Or is Johnson just leaving it to the NHS to deal with, while he devotes planning time to 'feel good' stuff, like a wedding?

You see, it's not just the stuff that has happened on his watch - the needless deaths - that matters.

It's also all the stuff that didn't happen, such as serious planning for the effects of the pandemic - primarily because Johnson is unfit to govern.

When will we, the U.K., insist that we have a right to take ourselves seriously, and be taken seriously - and demand seriousness from our Prime Minister?

C8H10N4O2 · 30/05/2021 15:24

Eg. Carrie's guide to healthy eating - based on her experience of managing a busy household in a small space and helping her busy, high-powered husband lose weight, through an innovative, low-fat diet

Which is delivered to the door at a cost of 28K and paid for by someone else.

The weird thing about the picture was for the first time the age gap really struck me. Johnson looks old in that picture in a way I've not noticed in others.

I'm beginning to wish these were the rules, I feel I would be having a more pleasurable bank holiday.

Profile photos don't do him any favours; full-face are what we normally see.

C8H10N4O2 · 30/05/2021 15:36

Not sure it reflects on Catholicism at all. Canon law is Canon law

And like all law is open to interpretation which can be more favourable if you have the right inputs. Even Westminster's own home page on the subject acknowledges that annulments are easier for the influential.

The rules apply because a marriage is only a marriage if the promises are made before God. That’s because marriage is a sacrament, not a legal contract. A registrar cannot oversee a sacrament

A registrar isn't needed for the marriage to be sacramental. The sacrament is mutually conferred by the couple upon each other which is why you still need an investigation and annulment after a civil marriage to marry in a RC church. (Unless the rules have changed extremely recently).

Yes that could be it. That jawline/jowl may be the issue but he really looks more like father of the bride than the groom.

AyeRobot · 30/05/2021 15:51

I assumed that they had planned a later wedding that they were not paying for but after the recent rap on the knuckles did this small one whilst they had to keep it small due to Covid.

Too cynical?

Ooh, a version I've not yet seen suggested. A party being paid for by someone else isn't quite as headline grabbing as a wedding.

Nothings too cynical where this lot are concerned!

A nice other thought process too. Good work Grin

A pair of grifters - they so deserve each other.

In other news, a vacancy now exists for 'Mistress of Boris Johnson'.

campion · 30/05/2021 17:01

@yellowspanner

Because Boris was baptised a Catholic as a baby he will always be a Catholic. His previous 2 marriages were not in Catholic Churches so do not count. As far as Catholic doctrine is concerned he was not married. Hence this marriage in their local Catholic Church. They had a private ceremony. What is wrong with people. Let them enjoy their weekend.
His previous marriages might not count for him but, oddly, when my divorced SiL wanted to marry in a catholic church she was told the only way round it was to get my brother, her exH, to sign a declaration that he hadn't really meant the promises he made in his (CofE) marriage vows. Not sure if she was asked the same thing. This would then count as an annulment.

DB was put out as he certainly had meant them at the time. He eventually signed simply because it wasn't going to affect him directly. So their marriage apparently did count until a lie was told.

I doubt he'd get hitched without having filled that vacancy already.
DonkeysNotDisney · 30/05/2021 17:10

Do think he auditioned, or ran a casting day.

Tbf if I was Carrie I'd hope that the position was filled promptly, the pp that spoke of 'GUSTO' has really put me off my dinner, a mistress would negate all that

Boris is vile - Henry the 8th without the power to decapitate - don't these women ever learn - cheaters always cheat and he cannot keep it in his pants
