@GreenTeaPingPong

Einstein A-Go-Go by Landscape.

"you'd better watch out, you'd better beware
Cos Einstein says that E=MC squared"

Really weird yet catchy.

I have it on one of my Spotify playlists. Recently read the lyrics and it's quite disturbing!

Nothing’s Gonna Stop Me Now - Samantha Fox

If you take away the sometimes unnecessarily try-hard-sexy lyrics and the gratuitous images used to publicise her spin-off music career (not difficult to see why they did it, granted), Sam Fox was actually a really good pop singer with some really good, catchy tunes.

Turning the OP title on its head, one song they play quite a bit on Radio 2 that probably should have disappeared is Trouble by Lindsey Buckingham. The main body of the song is truly meh, generic and so forgettable, but what on earth is with the Vic & Bob-style club-singing right at the beginning?!

Boris Gardiner - I Want To Wake Up With You
Glenn Medeiros - Nothing's Gonna Change My love For You

Both a bit cheesy, but nice, nostalgic pop songs, nevertheless.

JewelGarden · 20/06/2021 03:48

I've been listening to Kisstory when in the car and it's an amazing mix of songs for people in their 30s/40s, all the tunes we would have partied to when I was about 20. Like Christina Aguilera - Dirrty followed by Cha Cha Slide, Take me to the Clouds above. Justin Timberlake Sexyback! All of the terrible classics.

I love the Boris Gardiner one, mellow Sunday morning tune 🙂
