After been desperate to watch the gifted and not finding it anywhere cheap, hurrah, Disney plus has it. Loved it...till I found it was cancelled after season 2 Sad

More that gutted me:-
Firefly
Dollhouse
Dark Angel
Hex

There’s probably more that I will add but these are off the go of my head

@BreakfastOfWaffles

Party Animals Cabin Pressure
Cabin Pressure wasn't cancelled. No-one ever had any intention for it to go beyond 26 episodes, and I think it would have been spoilt if they had tried.

Brothers and sisters. Think my friend and I were the only viewers seeing the ratings!

ImprobablePuffin · 17/05/2021 16:54

Did anyone see the first season of Terra Nova?

It was a sky original and was great...and then cancelled but no one seems to remember it.

Puddycatfan · 17/05/2021 16:55

Firefly (do I even need to bother saying it?)
Flash Forward
Santa Clarita Diet
Dollhouse
I'm sure there are loads more. I seem cursed with this sort of thing!

TurdCrapley · 17/05/2021 16:56

Ugh yes to the new normal and flashforward! The most recent one for me was Giri/Haji, I loved that and the characters had so much more to show😔

Yes! I enjoyed this too. Definitely thought it had more seasons in it.

Servants ... bbc Erie’s with Orla Brady ( and they didn’t release it on DVD so I have to rewatch grainy vhs rip)
Home Fires... another Poor BBC decision

notacooldad · 17/05/2021 17:05

There was a brilliant show called (I think) Flash Forward and they bloody cancelled it, leaving the audience on a cliffhanger.
Yes it was around 2009 or 10.
I used to work until 9 pm on Monday nights but could be home for about 10 past 9 so he would pause it for me. My lads were 10 and 13cand we all watched it together. It started great and then had a mid season break. It got cancelled so rushed the ending !

randomlyLostInWales · 17/05/2021 17:05

Firefly

Apparitions
Outcast

I shall be devastated if they done make season 3 of Mindhunter.

NewjobOldme · 17/05/2021 17:16

Life - the one with Damian Lewis. I think it fell foul of the Hollywood writers strike. It was really good.
Mozart in the Jungle - on Prime. It wasn't great but I was enjoying it and didn't expect it to come to a sudden end.
Stumptown

wellerhugs5 · 17/05/2021 17:16

If they don't make it 🤣

MrsHandles · 17/05/2021 17:18

Home Fires on ITV. Set during the Second World War. The last episode saw a plane crash into one of the houses in the village, it wasn’t revealed who had lived or died. As the credits rolled, the continuity announcer said it was the last ever episode!

ChrissyPlummer · 17/05/2021 17:22

Alcatraz
My So Called Life
Rescue Me (the one with Sally Phillips)
Great Night Out; originally got the green light for a second series from ITV then the decision was reversed.
