Accused of posting on someone's LinkedIn...

I work in a public sector organisation and have been called in by my line manager to say that I have posted something offensive on someone's LinkedIn page and of causing offensive comments on twitter.

I have a LinkedIn account but don't use it much, I do remember following and unfollowing this person a few months ago but no recollection of posting on their page. Is there a way I can check whether I commented without looking at their profile? I know they can see if I have looked at them and I don't want them to make any more allegations about me.

When all this is over and he is proven to have bullied you, would you consider resigning and making a claim for constructive dismissal?

Really good point. I would seriously consider it but would need to be certain because of pension implications.

I am absolutely here for going after the whole culture that let this happen and to be a stark warning to these sexist bullies.

Have been on the wrong end of a public sector witch hunt myself a number of years ago (not as bad as yours) so know how utterly soul destroying it can be.

Are you hoping to clear your name and quash the first written warning?

Hello all!

Small update in that I have had disclosure of the interview records of my boss and other people involved in the case. Because I am "over it", and because it's the best part of 2 years since it all started, I am in a position to consider them absolutely ridiculous and laugh at them.

My boss's independent witness/note taker said "There is something missing from the recordings, he definitely asked her XYZ. When I went to look in my notebook, that information is missing from there as well"

AREYOUFUCKINGKIDDINGME

Boss is evasive, belligerent, aggressive and defensive and the other bloke continuously tries to undermine my credibility (and spends a long time talking about my rep).

I have drafted my response which talks about how defensive they all are when they could have just accepted "mistakes were made". It points out a few of the more outlandish claims such as the above and "The delay was because we couldn't find X witness". Well I asked for them to be interviewed in September 21 and you didn't even try to contact them til March 22 so I'm not having that!!

Response in by Tue and then a few weeks to wait for result. TBH, if I can piss the boss off with my letter, I will consider job done.
