According to my DD, 17. All her mates are ordering them for the summer. I’m struggling to get my head around this news.

They have been for at least a year. I was hoping the bloody ugly things would be on their way out again by now.

They never went

Not in my feet!

Don't (can't) wear anything else - a bunion has caused my second toe to cross over my big toe so Croc replicas are a must. At €3,50 a pair I can have every colour! Grin

Excellent, I still have my 2 pairs from last time.

They've always been amazing for anyone with difficult feet. I wear mine round the house, and accidentally wore them out today. I must be ahead of the trend!

They are the most practical of footwear, and are much better for healthy feet than most summer shoes/sandals!

I've got several pairs of crocs. With several auto immune diseases and joint damage in my feet and knees crocs are a god send and sooooo comfy!

A lot of Americans wear them. Especially teenage girls.

I have to wear enclosed crocs for work and they're the most comfiest shoe 😂.

In pog form?

No way! I wear mine all the time at home and camping but never in public.
Imagine the joy of being able to wear them on the school run!

What has happened to fashion... unflattering baggy trousers and crocs

She even wants the jibbitz charm things. It’s like she’s 7 again!! She loves retro/vintage but this is a retro step too far in my eyes. Though I know they’re lovely and comfy and deep down I’m envious Wink

I love a Croc. I live in my Croc flip flops just now.

Report
Lockdownbear · 30/03/2021 20:08

I love mine and wear them as slippers, except they seem to cause static buildup.

Report
PaperMonster · 30/03/2021 20:12

I wear mine for work - they are like ballet pumps though, but more supportive. And I love my flip flop ones. I have a limited edition pair which I wear for going in the garden - not sure if people would actually realise any of these are actually Crocs though!!

I've got leopard print crocs and I loves them Grin

ElspethFlashman · 30/03/2021 20:16

I've had several and they are amazing.

I mean hideous..... But amazing.

Be warned OP, there are platform Crocs on ASOS. They look like breezeblocks. Grin

I have a VERY glamorous friend (married to an international pop star) who has been wearing them for the past year and I haven't stopped ribbing her about them. She's wearing like a beautiful Dior dress or Gucci jumpsuit with bloody crocs?!
I should've known she's "on trend" haha

Report
Igloo71 · 30/03/2021 20:18

But... but... do you wear them in actual real life public? I love a bit of leopard print but in croc form would be strictly limited to my back garden. I may have to deny DD belongs to me if she dons the crocs on the streets.

Yep, my 20 year old mentioned it to me the other day. Said she needed a mint green pair.

Glam school mum wore them today, really retro peach colour - I admit I was taken by them!

@ElspethFlashman she showed me the platforms!!! Even she was laughing at those

@justwaydamin my DD is very good at creating her own look but I was horrified! Your friend has got me doubting myself now, I guess I’m just a grumpy old fogey
