According to my DD, 17. All her mates are ordering them for the summer. I’m struggling to get my head around this news.

I wear work crocs for work, and they are the best thing I have used due to long hours on my feet all day.

They never went away here in Finland. DD lives in them all summer and I always use them for the garden. Also have an indoor pair for when I do the cleaning as I don't like to mop in my socks. They are so handy, great for going down the road to the beach in.

I’ve got a mint green pair that I wear in the garden from the first time round. DH is on his second black pair. If we wear them out the kids will be horrified

I attribute my long standing fungal toe nail and recurrent athletes foot problem to a summer spent in crocs. They are comfy though

I have 4 pairs, 2 for the garden - 1 with holes and 1 closed in and 2 in the touring caravan - 1 normal pair and I fur lined winter pair. I once had to wear them for work for about a month when I injured my foot and it swelled as they were the only shoes I could get on. They were all bought when on offer.

My physio says the same Shell. I used to wear Fitflops but the sponginess gave me problems with my knees. Birkenstock type soles are better I'm told.

@picklemewalnuts

They've always been amazing for anyone with difficult feet. I wear mine round the house, and accidentally wore them out today. I must be ahead of the trend!

They are the most practical of footwear, and are much better for healthy feet than most summer shoes/sandals!

I got plantar fasciitis from wearing crocs. My physio said they are really bad for your feet because there is no support. I always buy shoes, sandals or boots with arch support now. Wearing crocs feels comfy but it’s just storing problems for later on. They’re also really dangerous on smooth wet ground and stairs, I nearly came a cropper on several occasions and slid down six stairs hitting my bum at the bottom.

NHS staff where them in surgical areas. Comfy and easy to clean. Look at feet when you’re next in a hospital.

I bought my first ever pair last week! I've just been wearing them to take the guinea pigs' heat pads up to their cosy shed. Grin

I LOVE them but slip and slide with sweaty feet if I wear them without socks- anyone else?

@yoshiblue

Oooh great! I've bought a pair for wearing in the garden/putting the bins out Blush Looks like I'll be able to nip to the shops in them too!

I nip to the local shops in mine.
Nobody cares.
I dont.

@ElspethFlashman wear them with pride!! DD is still (not so patiently) waiting for hers to arrive. I’m sure it’s like you’re walking on clouds Smile

They don't make my favourite ones any more, but I do have a couple of pairs of the swiftwater ones and they are very comfortable for my flat, arthritic feet.

Can someone with flat feet/PF please tell me which flip flops I should be looking for? (To wear around the house, not in public obviously Blush)

I'm tempted to get a pair for the garden, but I just can't quite bring myself to do it.

Google "crocs escalator" and you'll get a load of horror stories of kids losing toes.

I found myself looking at Crocs wellies (shorty style) today. As recommended on a random Facebook video.
The children’s Crocs wellies with pull-on handles were well cute.

You can't go wrong with a pair of crocs.

They look the best with a maxi-skirt/dress.

Went for it! Expensive bin shoes if all goes badly. My 11 yr old is horrified. Must be good Grin.

I hope so. I don’t know what to wear at work in the summer as we aren’t allowed to wear sandals (support worker).

Maybe crocs would fit the bill but really?? Crocs? I don’t think I could currently face the shame. 🤣
