Insomniac roll call

I’ve had a grand total of sixty minutes sleep and I’m now wide awake. Anyone else still up? No doubt I’ll be starting to fall asleep as the dc wake up.

@hairymuffet I too am guilty of the falling asleep earlier and then being wide awake. It’s horrible isn’t it.

Hello everyone, just joining for the roll call/

Interested to see some of you getting up and doing things instead of staying in bed (which is really the most infuriating place to be when you can't sleep, isn't it?). I always feel too stubborn to get up just in case I can get back to sleep.

I'm suffering pretty badly with insomnia at the moment,I think I've developed some health anxiety so tend to stay awake diagnosing all sorts of terrible things for myself and catastrophising over all sorts of horrible circumstances.

I think I'm going to try to read my kindle for a bit to see if that helps at all.

Joining in! 34 weeks pregnant and haven't slept more than a couple of hours a night since about 28 weeks!

Checking in too! I have slept, woke up at 4, mind is whirring now. Waiting on biopsy results and can’t settle.

I'm awake as I'm dreading work.

I fell asleep shortly after I posted, then my alarm went off at 7.30 for work, so I’ve called in sick. I need to try and get an hour so I’m fit to drive for my scan later

Couldn't get off to sleep. Fucking time change. I got about 3 hours of sleep.

Last night! Got 2 hours max. I forgot to ask for decaf when out at lunchtime (circa 1pm) I hate caffeine sensitivity.

Try not to worry, they do vary naturally. One of mine arrived on their due date but they could instantly tell they were preemie, probably 36 weeks gestation, they figured growth was slower than average - and she continued that way and as 5'1 as an adult

Medication side-effects mainly, @Sunbird24. I'll be ok in a day or two.

I thought I would sleep earlier, I was so tired at 10pm. I watched the ISS fly over and thought I'd get my head down, but sleep never came.

And here I am back on MN again.

Everything keeps me awake at night, my eyes are stinging from the tiredness but I just can’t switch off. Stressing about dc at the moment since one raised some concerns about school. My marriage is rapidly falling apart and I’m trying to work out my next move and I need to plan my career based upon a potential separation.

I run an online business and 95% of my customers are in USA so thats why I rarely go to bed before 2 am. I was up til 4 am today! I was always a night owl.
