Dead Bloom & Wild Flowers

Anyone else received an awful box of flowers from Bloom & Wild today?

I've had their flowers before but this time they are crushed, broken and going brown. I've actually cried, which is silly but what should have been something to make me smile looks like is needs to go in the bin.

As I said, I've had their flowers before but these are not going to perk up!

We were sent dead flowers by moonpig this week too.

MrsAmaretto · 13/03/2021 18:58

@CamborneMaid those flowers are beautiful - I will look into them.

I've contacted them in messenger and they've asked for the order number off the back of the card and will get back to me.

Even the card is ruined - wet and the food powder is all over it.

@CamborneMaid

Another vote for using Cornish blooms if you prefer letterbox. These were my Mums she received yesterday.

I've tried a couple of different letterbox ones like Bloom & Wild but they weren't great.

I ordered from a local florist for my Nan and for £15 she had a beautiful bouquet delivered today,so I would definitely go with a local florist again.

Never heard of them but they look beautiful, will give them a try. I send loads out at the moment, trying to connect during lockdown to my friends and family.

I got some yesterday from DS, they are beautiful.

evtheria · 13/03/2021 19:04

Very surprised to hear so many bad experiences - have used B&W since they first started and have always had great bouquets... Seeing as the last one I sent was before Christmas I’ll think about ordering elsewhere for my next gift.

Nightbear · 13/03/2021 19:05

M&S are good again. My mother’s flowers arrived today and they’re really lovely.

Logoff · 13/03/2021 19:08

My mum has just received her M&S flowers, not very impressed to be honest (going by the photo). However their customer service has been excellent in the past when I put the wrong address in for a delivery and they went above and beyond to sort it.

Brunilde · 13/03/2021 19:12

Currently trying to contact M&S about the disgraceful flowers my mum received today!

ElderMillennial · 13/03/2021 19:12

Can we see a pic OP?

They usually have a good service. Reasonable to give them another to to send you another bunch.

TaraR2020 · 13/03/2021 19:14

Always rated them in the past but ordered some in January and they spent 48hourd being delivered, by the time they arrived they were in a sorry state and didn't recover - I got a refund.

CactusPat · 13/03/2021 19:14

I used them pretty much from the beginning and found them great, but the last year or so I had to complain about nearly every delivery from them. They’re great at replacing but it’s still mortifying for the recipient to have to text to tell you the flowers you sent were crap. Changed to using Arena now who have been great so far and seem pretty ethical too.

jessabell · 13/03/2021 19:19

Bloom and wild no problem with flowers delivered. Still looking good a few weeks lster.

81Byerley · 13/03/2021 19:20

Bunches is brilliant, especially their Florists Choice, and you get points to spend on your next bunch, or to save til you have enough for a free bouquet.

skylarkdescending · 13/03/2021 19:37

It's so disappointing isn't it?

I had the same issue last year when I sent flowers for Mother's Day. DM sent me pictures and I forwarded them onto B&W. They tried to get me to have a redelivery but I just kept asking for a refund. They did send it through in the end.

However Dsis ordered from them this year and today they have turned up looking fantastic so a bit hit and miss really!

Diversion · 13/03/2021 19:42

I received a 3 month subscription from my parents for Christmas. The first bunch arrived very squashed and dead looking, I complained and they replaced them. The second lot were fine then the third bunch arrived dead, brown, broken stems, stems with no blooms on at all. I complained again and they sent me a lovely hand tied bouquet as a replacement. I doubt I would send them again to people now, but I have no complaints about their customer service.

SpiderinaWingMirror · 13/03/2021 19:46

I sent Bloom and Wild for Xmas and got some for my birthday (Valentine's day)
I really didn't rate them.

Redtartanshoes · 13/03/2021 19:46

Honestly though. Like valentines, sending flowers at this time of year is always going g to be an overpriced disappointment. Wait a week or send something less commercial.

Iloveacurry · 13/03/2021 19:48

Oh no. Ordered some for my mum tomorrow.

Panicmode1 · 13/03/2021 19:50

I've never had a good bunch from them. I used them about 5 times to send to friends etc and there were issues with all of them. Never again!

ncflowers · 13/03/2021 19:51

I've NC'd for this but all of my family use them regularly and never have a problem. These arrived today. In 2 days when they bloom they'll be so beautiful

I have used B&W many times for friends and family. I have never had a bad bunch.

NotquitewhatImeant · 13/03/2021 19:59

I’ve switched to arena flowers too @CactusPat after a few disappointing bloom and wild ones. Been really pleased so far

Tippexy · 13/03/2021 20:01

@StocksAndScares

Try Freddie's Flowers. I've never had a bad bunch from them.
I’m surprised to read this. Freddie’s Flowers had an absolute debacle with their Christmas deliveries recently. They didn’t source enough flowers to meet the orders so were sending out half bunches and alternative flowers that in no way were an adequate substitute!
SunshineCake · 13/03/2021 20:09

I sent a rose pot from M and S. The roses aren't the colour stated or I expected but my friend is delighted with them so it is okay.

yuyubooboo · 13/03/2021 20:11

Interestingly OP our monthly B&W batch are dreadfully poor this month too. Just as you describe. Really disappointed as every other bunch especially the December one was lovely. I'll email and get a replacement but really I'd just prefer they didn't arrive half dead in the first place
