It's like a TV show. How embarrassing!

The latest is that Meghan is accused of bullying staff. Harry and Meghan then responded that Buckingham Palace was using the Times to peddle false stories/a smear campaign. So presumably the "leak" comes from Buckingham Palace/the Queen.

It's all so childish. Why can't they all just be grateful for the extremely cushy life that they have!

I'll be watching the Oprah interview. I think the royals never come across well in these kind of things. Like Andrew's awful interview...he's just so out of touch with reality. And I think that's a characteristic that Harry unfortunately shares with him.

That’s the RF fault that it is not run along modern, professional lines. I guess they think royalty is above laws and don’t want themselves to be subject to investigation by others

Absolutely, and that's why I mentioned naivety around the hope it would be any different

Of course I don't agree with the way they handle things, but that's the way they like it and with no accountability at all there's no way they'll change unless forced, especially if there's a chance of an actual RF member being implicated

And unfortunately, among all the cooing, there's not yet a sufficient weight of opinion for that forcing to happen

Oh lets not even mention Caroline Middleton who sticking the knife by making a declaration she won't get her article for the magazine go ahead right now. I dint even know she qas going to be on it until that news. Then shamelessly there is an article on pippa and her second child..you know if Megan announced another child right now itd be teems of people saying how insensitive it is given Phillips health.

She hasn’t totally changed her appearance and I really don’t think commenting on someone else’s blackness is an ok thing to do

Which is what makes those who seek to take advantage of the fact that anyone who could refute the public statements they make are silenced particularly repellent, in my view. It's a massive abuse of power.

Anyway, luckily it's recently been established that you can't gag someone from whistleblowing (ironically because law firms used to do this to cover up damaging allegations against their partners) and so there are some cracks appearing in the means by which people are traditionally silenced.

I am confused. I thought they were on good terms with the Queen, the Zoom calls , the waffle maker... Harry said they were all in touch and friendly on James Cordon.

God I know I can't stand them especially for that time they befriended a pair of known sex traffickers, flew to their secret paedo island, raped a kidnapped girl and then spend 4 days at their luxury New York townhouse explaining why it was bad optics to be seen with them. Shit sorry I got the wrong royals. I don't think Harry & Meghan have embarrassed themselves or the royal family as much as Prince Andrew. I do think in a week where the country is taking on more debt with no idea how it's going to be repaid, Boris is possibly using underhand ways of getting cash to redecorate and there's evidence that Matt Hancock has acted unlawfully with the way he's given out covid contacts, it's interesting that there's been about 8 or 9 news stories about what twats Harry and Meghan are. Look the other way people! I don't particularly care for the royal family but all they did was decide a particular way of life didn't suit them so they changed it, half the country seems to be taking it personally!

For some reason there is a whole raft of 'fans' who regardless of the evidence in front of their eyes refuse believe they are capable of wrong and will defend them to the hilt. I don't understand it. What do you get out of it?

She could take a dump on the actual throne and there'd be the same people on here defending it.

And its so cringe. People quit their jobs, people complained to HR, they weren't listened to, they kept on quitting, and STILL anyone who is doubtful about Megan's character is just a big fat racist and her ex-aides are all lying.

Both Prince Andrew and Harry/Meghan have deeply embarrassed the RF in the last couple of years.

At least PA is keeping quiet and isn't going onto trashy daytime TV shows to slag off his family.

I just feel sorry for Harry. He is trying to control the press, just like his mum, but it always, always backfires. The best thing you can do is be utterly boring and quiet like Charles and they soon forget all about you!

What if the Royals are showing how relevant and necessary they are by keeping the papers busy with a whole stream of gossip? Whether you love them or hate them, you care. This, they are still relevant. If you were indifferent and not posting on this thread then maybe they wouldn’t be relevant. Maybe the Royals are playing us all!GrinWinkEither way, they are still newsworthy
