Aside from the slightly acquired decorative taste... wtf is with them sneaking their tea set (or part of it) into as many pictures as possible? Grin bonus points when it’s photographed with muffins or a cheese board...

It's not just the tea set though, is it?

How about the stunt houseplants cunningly transplanting themselves?? Grin

Dotinthecity · 13/02/2021 22:18

I'm guessing the home gym gets a lot of use, seeing as they eat so much cake!

allthegoodusernameshavegone · 13/02/2021 22:19

They are website shots, the property was a holiday let.

Merename · 13/02/2021 22:19

Haha that’s so funny! Like they saw the tip in a how to sell your home magazine. But does look appealing, makes me want tea and cake!!

nowbringmethathorizon · 13/02/2021 22:19

The girl in the fireplace in pic no 29 looks a bit pissed off about it too. Maybe the tea set is stealing her thunder 🤔

NotYourReindeer · 13/02/2021 22:19

That looks like it was last decorated early 1990s.

A family friend decorated their 4 bed 90s built semi almost identical, the frilly curtains and dado rails with striped wallpaper on the bottom.

Cattitudes · 13/02/2021 22:19

It looks like the brochure for an old B&B.

I thought the same and where is the fifth bedroom? Even the fourth looks like the dreaded box room. Cool tower though.

whenindoubtBake · 13/02/2021 22:21

@InsaneLockdowner

I'm also concerned that there's a touch of 1980s stylee Poirot going on in one of the bathrooms!
I had the same bedding in the 80s as a kid!
Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 13/02/2021 22:21

I like it - it looks like a very stylish counter hotel from the early 90s

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 13/02/2021 22:21

Country ffs!

QualityRoads · 13/02/2021 22:21

Nothing wrong with a bit of posh china! The estate agent must be a china fettishist.

TaighNamGastaOrt · 13/02/2021 22:22

Thought I'd have a nosy at this only to realise I lived just along from this house when I was at uni!
The wanky tea set/muffin staging is annoying, shame as its a beautiful house!

DumplingsAndStew · 13/02/2021 22:22

Is that a sunbed above the bath in picture 32?

whenindoubtBake · 13/02/2021 22:23

At least they didn't use the tea set to accessorise the bathrooms...

Honeyroar · 13/02/2021 22:23

That’s so funny!

Bluntness100 · 13/02/2021 22:24

Wow, all that house for that price, where I live you’d get a three bed terrace for that,,,,if you are Lucky.

Beautiful house, with a very low price due to its location,

Tink1990 · 13/02/2021 22:26

That was hillarious Grin

RuledbyASD · 13/02/2021 22:29

Not one, not two, but THREE close-ups of the Tea Set!

WHY

Beautiful home though, I absolutely love it! If only I had £700k spare!

whenwillthemadnessend · 13/02/2021 22:30

My God 700,000 for such a huge house that is amazing I wish it was near me I would buy it in a heartbeat

RaptorInaPorkPieHat · 13/02/2021 22:32

Shop bought muffins though..... lazy fuckers Wink

Camdenish · 13/02/2021 22:32

How much? That’s a one bed flat round here!
I bloody love it.

wowier · 13/02/2021 22:32

The bones of that house are amazing & it's such a bargain. The decor is a bit New Jersey.

Electricwigglefish · 13/02/2021 22:35

That fireguard/painting of the child is creepy and that narrow hallway is straight out of the shining but the decor is the real horror! Awful tea set too!

BeautifulStar · 13/02/2021 22:36

Rip out the chintz and that’s a beautiful house. The tray is hilarious!

I think I had that Pierrot bedspread (and a creepy Pierrot doll...)

TheRebelle · 13/02/2021 22:36

Oh my god it’s Hyacinth Bucket’s wet dream! I wonder if there’s a swimming pool and room for a pony?
