What's for tea tonight?

We're having bangers & mash, with veg, yorkshire puddings & gravy. Dd2's helping to cook.

What's everyone else having? :)

Homemade steak pie ,mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, carrots and Brussels. Mary Berry choc cake with either custard or ice cream

Spaghetti with tomatoe sauce, mushrooms, onions, peppers, garlic, chilli's and a sprinkling of cheese

Spicy tomato risotto. Not very Sunday dinnerish, but I don't have time for that in between night shifts.

I don't fancy anything, I feel a bit crap, I didn't sleep much last night, but I also had my first covid vaccine today so was going to treat myself to a takeaway.

I've made some tuna pasta to pick at, aswell as the obvious it has spring onions, tomatoes, kalamata olives, capers and artichokes in it.

For dinner it's roast chicken with roast potatoes, stuffing, parsnips, sweet potatoes, carrots, spinach and broccoli.

Lemon meringue pie with cream for pudding.

Crispy duck (the one you get in a box from Sainsbury’s) and pancakes, followed by home made Wagamama-style white chocolate and ginger cheesecake!

Some sort of aubergine bake thing with cheese and breadcrumbs on top with garlic bread and for dessert my children made rice crispy cakes with little chocolate eggs like nests.

Roast chicken, corn cobettes, coleslaw and hash browns served with bbq sauce. Got bored of traditional roast dinner.

Full roast chicken dinner, which is almost ready, and I've just realised I forgot to make stuffing. I like stuffing. 😔

We are having an old school party tea including jelly and cake.

Chickpea & harissa soup with cous cous and brik

Gammon, mash, leeks in cheese sauce, sprouts, carrots and sugarsnap peas, followed by raspberry trifle (my first ever homemade trifle).

Toad in the hole with mash, onion gravy, braised red cabbage green beans and carrots. Apple pie and custard for pudding.

We almost always have a meat and veg type dinner and a proper pud on Sundays - even more so in lockdown as it helps to know what day it is!

Chicken wrapped in Parma ham, in a tomato sauce. Lots of spinach and leeks on the side. Glass of wine. Pudding unlikely as ate a load of shite yesterday but we have got some biscuits in the cupboard if desperate.

Roast beef, cooked rare, roast potatoes, Yorkshires, roast onion, roast garlic, broccoli, sweetcorn, gravy and horseradish sauce. Red wine. Cheesecake for pudding.

Mmmm rare roast beef. We had a perfect roast beef a few weeks ago and I’m ready for another one tbh!

Any more moaning and face pulling, I will choose your option for you, and put 'take it' in the bin.

Roast gammon, potatoes and veg for lunch, so just a snacky supper.

I’m so jealous of all your yummy sounding meals. My girls are having fish fingers, chips and peas and I might have one of my homemade Caribbean style curries that I’ve got stashed in my freezer.

I had a pile of oven chips with chopped jalapeños and chopped gerkins and melted cheese for lunch so I’m not hungry yet!
