“White privilege” is a badly named term that really should be called “majority privilege” because this privilege does exist and benefits whoever is the majority ethnicity. It’s better to understand in that way than to call it White privilege in Europe or Asian privilege in China or Black privilege in Ethiopia. The terms white, black, Asian and so on also imply a monolith of race identity encompassing multiple ethnicities, which isn’t abided by in real life. The Rwanda genocide, the Armenian genocide, the Holocaust, the Roma genocide, the Pol Pot genocide, the Kulak genocide, the Sami genocide....history is littered with examples of ethnicities within white black asian where the differences were sufficient reason to some evil types to carry out genocide on another ethnicity that was also white, black, Asian but different.
It is important to note that majority privilege only applies to democratic countries. In countries with an aristocracy or ruling ethnic group, they are usually a minority numbers wise and hold power over an oppressed majority.
