At what age did you lose your virginity?

Inspired by another thread. I think I was quite late losing mine, I was 25. What about you?

18, but not for the want of trying!

17, seemed old at the time as most of my friends were 13-15 when they lost theirs. This was 2004 .

30 - wedding night. First time for us both.

I wonder if the age for losing virginity is rising or falling for the current generation? I hear that underage drinking is down because teens socialise less but spend more time on social media from home, so wonder if there are less opportunities.

It’s funny how so many people look back and wish they’d waited a bit longer, but I guess when you’re a teen, you just want to be grown up and not left behind...that’s what it feels like at the time.

17 which was WAY later than most my friends. Was a great experience though, I was very much in love with my boyfriend at the time and we'd been together about 5 months.

18 and I was quite old compared to my friends. They were doing it in cars and parks from about 13. I do think modern teens are actually more sensible.

I'm 35 now and actually I think I remember it was in February. So 20 years ago!

14, can't say it left any lasting impression on me.

My teen DSC have zero interest in sex, booze or drugs, very different to when I was young that's for sure.

18, in my first term at university, as did many of my friends.

16 with 20yo boyfriend, had been with him about 4 months before we had sex, were together for 3 years

16, I do in a way regret it as I saw my virginity as something I wanted to be rid of. It was also not good. In fact none of the sex I had was good until I met DH and eventually felt secure enough to look into what I actually liked and talk about it. Looking back I think me and some of the people I slept with were too heavily influenced by porn.
