At what age did you lose your virginity?

Inspired by another thread. I think I was quite late losing mine, I was 25. What about you?

  1. It was pretty blah. Didn't bother again for two years!

16 in my first proper relationship. Almost did the deed when I was 15 but didn't.

Respectabitch · 04/02/2021 10:54

I mean there's a case to be made for 19, but I didn't actually have a penis inside my vagina until 26 (three years after my wedding...)

That sounds like a story...

I was 18, with my bf of 4-5 months. I wasn't ready before that age so I feel pretty good about it.

I think the story above does highlight the absurdity of this question though. I have a gay friend who doesn't do penetrative sex (yes, they do exist). Is he a "virgin" even though he's had plenty of sex? I wouldn't say so.

  1. It was OK. No pressure. Still in touch with him now periodically, 40 odd years later.

15 and it was such a wrong situation.

I was 16. Not in a relationship, but was 'seeing' the guy. Honestly I probably ended up losing my virginity because everyone around me was, no so much peer pressure but influence I suppose. I don't regret it, it wasn't special but then a lot of the sexual relationships you have in your late teens/early 20s isn't exciting. I enjoyed being able to experiment at that age.

  1. On my wedding night. No regrets.

16 but would have been sooner if I’d been in the position to. I was wanting to do it since about 14 but didn’t have boyfriends. I’m glad now I didn’t just give it away to anyone. It was with a boyfriend who was a few years older but lovely and looked after me. After that I did sleep with quite a few before I met my husband. Some of them I cringe about but not my first ❤️

16 and far too young now I look back.

It was the norm where I grew up (90's working class area) for you to start having sex from as young as age 12. My niece is 13 and I can't imagine her even kissing anyone, let alone getting up to the things her mother did (and me to a lesser extent)

At 16 I was desperate to lose it and thought I was grown up. At 38 I wish I'd waited, I was so young!

19 married him at 21

  1. Almost 14. No pressure I very much wanted it and wouldn’t change it if I could.
cerealgamechanger · 04/02/2021 11:09

30 (on my wedding night).
