Sister name for Elliot & Arthur

No E or A names
Scottish nod (both Elliot & Arthur are also clan names)
Needs to be a saint name
Agnes for a middle name

Morag? No idea if it's a Saint name, thought. I like Caitlin and Catherine.

Hannah immediately came to mind to me, it's a Saint but not Scottish particularly.

mummypandabear · 01/02/2021 21:55

I love the name Mhairi

ClosedAuraOpenMind · 01/02/2021 21:58

I love Catriona with Elliot and Arthur

floristowen · 01/02/2021 22:01

Catriona is lovely- know 2, one goes by Cat and the other by her full name. Would be odd for me to use. But this is a perfect fit.

Isobel popped in my head when I heard those names! Not sure why..

floristowen · 01/02/2021 22:06

Pretty but can’t use, maybe Imogen?

We don’t fancy most Gaelic names but Mhairi is lovely .. my sister in law is Mhairi-Claire though

How about Georgia of Thea? Saints but not Scottish...

Margaret is a bit blah on its own but Maggie is adorable, or Margot - that’s Scottish and saintly!

WishingHopingThinkingPraying · 01/02/2021 22:30

Marianne?

ReggieKrait · 01/02/2021 22:33

Clare - totally due a comeback!
Maria
Marie
Marianne

floristowen · 01/02/2021 22:35

Yes, have thought of variations too ... perhaps Maisie? Margot growing on me ...

Have a cousin Georgia- love that name

SIL Marianne ... perhaps could do a double barrelled Mary name? Mary Agnes or Mary Jane?

MrsRedFly · 01/02/2021 22:36

Hazel?

floristowen · 01/02/2021 22:37

Can’t use Claire ...but like names that are simple, Jean, Jane, Anne ect

OP posts:
floristowen · 01/02/2021 22:38

Like Hazel but don’t love it. Same with Olive.

Margo? Maud? no idea about the saint connection though. I think Margo ( with or without the t ) is much nicer than Maggie

what about Fleur? nearly Flora, without the buttery connection.

ReggieKrait · 01/02/2021 22:38

Georgina? NN Gina?

Redsparklybucket · 01/02/2021 22:40

Just go for Flora, I’ve got one she’s fab! Am sure DH will get over the margarine thoughts when he meets her!

LaurieSchafferIsAllBitterNow · 01/02/2021 22:41

or Grace...Grace Darling! DD was nearly Imogen but every girl child got that the year before she was born, and we went with something else. Five years on every other girlchild was a version ...eve, evie, eva, ava, BAH!

RumpoleoftheBaileys · 01/02/2021 22:41

Ahhh - I clicked on this to say Beatrice
