The amount of “merry Christmas” posts I’ve seen on social media today. It’s tomorrow ffs. The name is in the title “Christmas day”

It is all a load of blx. Over tomorrow night. So fkn what.

Nice wishes are nice, and I do wish them, but honestly two days from now we will still be looking at a fkn turkey carcass plus stupid leftovers, and the MILs from hell.

I give up. Just whisk me away somewhere NOW lol,

Emmylou292 · 24/12/2020 13:20

Not many people have time to post on social media on Christmas Day.

Fieldofyellowflowers · 24/12/2020 13:25

A lot of posters here live in the uk. Yes we celebrate mainly on the 25th but christmas time lasts longer than one day. I've been saying merry christmas to people all week. I

RachelRosie · 24/12/2020 13:28

Because I'll have better things to do tomorrow than posting on FB Hmm

nosswith · 24/12/2020 13:30

Merry Christmas OP.

BroomHandledMouser · 24/12/2020 13:34

Good god OP do fuck off and get a life

Rhiannon13 · 24/12/2020 13:34

I've sent Christmas wishes today because many people don't go on social media on Christmas Day (and I'll be working so might not have time). Nobody's complained that I've thought of them. Maybe a social media holiday is in order OP?

earthyfire · 24/12/2020 13:35

No social media in my house allowed on Christmas Day and no photo posting (not that I do anyway). Perhaps other's are the same.

PandemicPavolova · 24/12/2020 13:35

Agree op, today should be..

Merry 4th tier

Merry brexit

Merry New mutation of covid and finally

Merry New mutation of covid!

Babyg1995 · 24/12/2020 13:36

Merry Christmas x 5 op

ReggieCat · 24/12/2020 13:36

I've already done my social media 'Merry Christmas' messages because like most people with a life, I'll be too busy tomorrow.

strawberrymilkshakemonkey · 24/12/2020 13:38

lots of people from different cultures, e.g. Eastern Eropeans, celebrate christmas on christmas eve.

but, aside from that, it's a time of year!

Retiremental · 24/12/2020 13:40

Dillo10 · 24/12/2020 13:48

Ugh fuck off OP

KarmaNoMore · 24/12/2020 14:01

It is Christmas here, lots of countries celebrate Christmas Eve.

The 25th is just to recover from the long party the night before and get together to eat leftovers from Christmas dinner.

Then we start the party again on the 26th. Rest for 4 days, party again and do another one on the 6th of January.

Happy Christmas!

CopperheadRoad · 24/12/2020 14:02

Sorry, new here.

When people post a biscuit, what does it mean?

KarmaNoMore · 24/12/2020 14:04

Basically... a biscuit means a lot of things... long tradition started by Gordon Brown not making his mind about biscuits but now is more like handing a biscuit to a crying child, I think Grin

CopperheadRoad · 24/12/2020 14:07

@KarmaNoMore that is very obscure, glad I didn’t waste any more time trying to guess! Been wondering for at least a week now 😂

CeeceeBloomingdale · 24/12/2020 14:07

Miserable sod

QueenofLouisiana · 24/12/2020 14:10

I opened the Christmas crisps today (you know, the ones that teen DS has been eyeing for weeks, only to be told “those are for Christmas”). Therefore, it is clearly Christmas!

Ynwa12345 · 24/12/2020 14:10

@DifficultPifcultLemonDifficult

Do you open Christmas cards before Christmas day and get pissed off too, or is your rage reserved solely for social media.
