Anyone fancy a new jigsaw thread?

Hello all.

I really enjoyed the last jigsaw thread which was going on during the summer and wondered if anyone fancied sharing any pictures of jigsaws that are currently being done?
I'm nearly finished with my Disney Christmas one. A nice easy one which has only taken me a couple of days.
The weather is grim today so I expect it will be finished very soon! I will post a full picture once it is complete.
Would love to see your jigsaws....

DH and DD are off to see DH's family in Malaysia tomorrow so it will be just me and DS at home and he is reasonably undemanding (18 yr old). The taxi is coming at 6.30 am so I will have a lie in and then make a start on this. I have a few good audiobooks lined up, perhaps I should make a Spotify play list too.

So many lovely jigsaws! I've had a run of 500 piece ones, all charity shop buys. Need more time to start a couple of 1000 piece ones.

I've dug out a puzzle that I started about 9 years ago and I'm hooked. I'll post when I'm done, hopefully before we go away next week. There are some lovely pictures out there!

Nice jigsaw @petitebleu I like the funny cartoony ones.

This is my latest, took a gamble on a charity shop jigsaw and it was thankfully complete.

DS went off to Spain, so it is just me and the dog. So I finished the whole jigsaw. I have another one in reserve, but I think I'll concentrate on quilting instead. I was taking a break from quilting because I had finger soreness, but that's easing up now.

I’ve just bought my Gibson 2022 Christmas jiggy! V excited…I won’t start it until December but it feels good to have something to look forward to 🧑‍🎄 looks like it will be fun to do…nice and bright with lots of colour.

I’d forgotten about this thread until it popped up today, I did a few 1000 piece puzzles after my dog one, then nothing doe a while.

In the June half term holidays we got caught in a storm in the library and the children and I (4&6) finished the community puzzle which was 500 pieces. After that as it was rainy it set off a week of puzzling and watching Harry Potter films!

the cupcake one was really difficult for the 4 year old? But the 6 year old loved it. I must find a similar type/size one for her birthday at the end of the month!

I’m planning on getting back to puzzling as a Sunday afternoon activity once autumn properly sets in.

InMySpareTime, is that an Angela Harding puzzle? We bought one for BIL last Christmas and he said it was actually pretty difficult to do.

It's puzzle season again.. been cracking on with a few over the past couple of weeks. Had a disappointing couple that I got in a charity shop that had numerous pieces missing, it's just a bit frustrating.

I love a jigsaw. Have just finished a Wentworth one though and it was so beautiful to do - it's ruined me for any other puzzles.

peaceandove I'm addicted to Wentworth and agree that once you start other puzzles don't quite match up. They're expensive though so I tend to buy and sell on EBay so they pretty much pay for themselves.
