Help with stupidly hard quiz

Each year my work does a stupidly hard quiz. There are many stages and we get a month to try and do it.

Anyone help me with this stage? there are 21 pictures of celebrities and I've managed to work out who they all are but now I'm stuck on working out the password to the next stage. Each picture has a coloured Roman numeral in it so I assume I have to use those to work out the answer...

Presumably each digit is a letter of the alphabet and that makes a word. Trying now.

But you were brilliant at that. I was thinking about vowels, looking up capitals etc. Just in the wrong track.

I was astounded when people got 'to move on just type round' for the first one. But for some reason please please please let me get what I want just popped into my head today. And I'm not really a smiths fan!

This is so good. Off to look at the pictures now but not sure that is how my brain works. Am sure someone else will find it 'easy' though!
