I need your help, hive mind
I will be opening a shop, an independent selling clothing (lesser known brands, maternity stuff) and locally made jewellery etc
I’m struggling with the name
This is my shortlist:
Blossom&robes
Luxeduck
Pushvelvet
Stellarobes

Do you have a favourite and any other suggestions would be appreciated? Thanks!

I’m in the south west
I am thinking mid priced stuff because I am trying to get away from fast fashion but I appreciate people won’t spend the earth on things they will only wear for 6 months

If you want to portray Scandi chic you might have to re-think

Sweetchillijam · 18/10/2020 15:30

What about ‘blooming blossom’ , BB gowns, Phoebe gowns, Phoebe’s. Velveteen gowns, phoebe gowns, phoebe’s closet, blooming closet, serendipity gowns etc.

ChrisPriss · 18/10/2020 15:31

PhoebeMoon?
Luxeduck from your list
Wishing you good luck x

madamsapple · 18/10/2020 15:32

Bloom and Bee

firesong · 18/10/2020 15:42

Phoebe means "bright" I think?

Bright Blossom?
Bloom Bright?

gubbbbbddaaaa · 18/10/2020 15:45

Fair enough , you know your area. I think maternity is in two camps . One that have so much money it doesn't matter and the other that just wants £20 jeans that will do..I personally don't think there is a massive market in between . Remember also a lot of women just wear bigger stretchy clothes and not maternity at all. Having said that thousands of women get pregnant every year so there will be a constant flow of new customers , although this in itself has its own problems as boutiques usually rely on local , loyal repeat customers .. I do wish you luck though.

gubbbbbddaaaa · 18/10/2020 15:46

Also how about 'blossoming bees '.... I think this indicates maternity\ baby

motorcyclenumptiness · 18/10/2020 15:46

Armoire, Trove, Mochila

MrsWhites · 18/10/2020 15:48

What about something like:

Bloom boutique
Willow and Bloom Womenswear

I think anything with robes in sounds like a wizard shop - very Harry Potter!

Dontfuckingsaycheese · 18/10/2020 15:50

Phoebe's Attic Classics.

MikeUniformMike · 18/10/2020 15:52

Bloom & Blossom (but sounds like a florist)
Phoebe Fabulous
Pretty Peachy

CraftyGin · 18/10/2020 15:55

I like anything with Blossom in its name. It can cover anything from shabby chic to high end.

motorcyclenumptiness · 18/10/2020 15:59

Atico, Portmanteau, Omphalos

RandomMess · 18/10/2020 16:01

Scandi - luscious

Although that may attract a different clientele...

ladyandthechocolate · 18/10/2020 16:08

@RandomMess sounds a bit erotic Wink

Erm yes that was my concern 😂

waltzingparrot · 18/10/2020 16:21

I like the suggestions
Blossom & Bee
Blossom & Belle

Mum & Mia

JamMakingWannaBe · 18/10/2020 16:28

Trinkets & Treasures
Peach Unique
Bloom & Blush / Blossom & Blush

Antonov · 18/10/2020 16:32

Luxe Duck is a boot brand already in existence. That might cause complications.

WettnWild · 18/10/2020 16:36

I’d avoid anything too maternity/pregnancy sounding if that’s only a small part of what you stock, anything Bloom sounds like you’re referring to pregnancy. It would put me off going in to a shop if I thought it was just for pregnant women/newborns.

The successful gift/clothes shops local to me just have short names eg. Boutique, Allure or just a name like Misha.

Fi-Fi?
Bluebella?
Presence?
BeeBee’s?

WeAreFromThePlanetDuplo · 18/10/2020 16:37

I don’t like names like Blossom and Bee, they sound a bit hippyish to me. Of your ideas I like Stella or Lux (without any of the duck bits). I don’t feel your list feels very Scandi or edgy/cool/stylish.

I can imagine a cool shop called
Zoe and Finch
Birch and Greene

Or something. This is difficult! Grin

LivingDeadGirlUK · 18/10/2020 16:39

Bee's boutique?

LivingDeadGirlUK · 18/10/2020 16:40

Sorry meant Blossom boutique, although that does sound quite maternity.

ladyandthechocolate · 18/10/2020 16:43

@WeAreFromThePlanetDuplo I agree but I struggle to think of edgy without it sounding daft.
I don’t dislike your suggestions
