No, I don't have a duty to stamp on it. I've seen plenty of it on here and other sites. It is the responsibility of the administrator of the site.

So you didn't know about it. Yet, here you are, telling members of a former forum how they think and what their political affiliations are without a jot of evidence of that.

Many may well be glad that it had closed. That's their right - particularly where they've been hurt or harmed by it.

But it is very clear that one poster here, who has been here for years, has had an allegation made against her on heresay by one poster who claims to have 'seen' what she and others have written.

She has now been called a racist for something she hasnt said. On your thread? Don't you have a duty to call that behaviour out too? Or that does that stand because.....????

It is not “my” thread, incidentally. People should be free to read and make up their own minds. There are no self-appointed prefects here / as there seem to have been there - although your post seems to be veering in that direction.

Nothing to do with here or there... however, by your theory, here you are supporting allegations about a long-term poster and 'prefecting' over a site that is no longer.

You also evaded the questions regarding anti maskers and anti vaxxers. I'll take it that you can't answer as you don't have any evidence to support that claim.

I don't recognise the site some posters are describing. To me it seemed a welcoming and inclusive place. I hope people don't take as read some of the outrageous statements being made here. They are lies.

Certainly not what I've posted

I had my friend, always a bit of a softy, in floods of tears to me after a very worrying WhatsApp message. She was so upset, she said she didn't get what she had done that was so awful. This was at the start of the abuse.
It became a witch hunt. I told her, you know what, walk away, let it calm down. Ignore and don't respond and they will get bored.
Except they didn't. They kept tagging her and being abusive, saying "just drop it, let it go". Others even posted, why are saying that, she's not posted in 2 then 3 days. But no, they carried on. She emailed the admin. No response. I emailed my concerns because just how upset she was, asking them to intervene and remove the comments, no response.
Then she posted why is there an effort to get me banned, begging admin to answer. They did by banning her. Then the names here were gleeful, laughing at getting her banned.
One joke about Boris Johnson, one single joke. That was all they needed to make me friend so upset.
And for the poster calling SimonJT a liar, he has receipts in the way of screenshots.
The snakes on there should be instantly banned here. We don't want it here. Yes sometimes here does have its arseholes, but nothing like there.

What snakes? The problem with here is that it is much more spread out because it is a bigger site.

The site has gone. Aside from the allegation that has been denied, I'm not sure what all the fuss is about.
