How often do you get takeaway?

And in order of 3 most favourite, what do you get?

We get about every 3 months

1. Greek: souvlaki kebab platter.
2. Fish and chips
3. Thai.

Depends - we used to get a takeaway from our favoirite Nepalese resturant every weekend. Since Covid we haven't really had many takeaways.

Once every 2-3 months and I always really look forward to it

We tent to rotate between Indian (my fave) and Chinese (OH’s fave), with the odd Thai, which we both like

Used to be an embarrassing amount of times when I lived with stbexh, combination of eating out and takeaways canes to 4-5 meals a week minimum. Now with dp it's rare, twice during lock down, plus ate food at the seafront a couple of times but since the restaurants reopened we eat out perhaps 3 times a month on average.

Once a fortnight.

Sushi, Italian or Fish and Chips. No favourite, it's just which one we feel like that night.

Ps don't think it's because I turned over a new leaf - there's just nothing worth eating here!

Once a month here, always Chinese, always from the same one, and always order the same thing!

We have one less than once a year, we had one a few weeks ago as my daughter and family were going home after having bubbled with us. It was an indian

Never, really. There’s a huge amount of availability, but we never have a takeaway.

Every Friday night usually fish and chips.

During lockdown, we had about five Italian meals delivered by a family run restaurant and that was mainly to support them (though Italian is my favourite and it was a change from cooking).

In normal times, we would maybe have fish and chips from the local chippy two or three times a year.

I absolutely loathe Indian and Chinese food.

Not often. Maybe once every couple of months.

If not is that quite a standard way to eat where you live?

Chinese food, about 3/4 times per year due to cost.

My go to is beef with ginger and spring onion. DH like beef in black bean sauce.
DD’s, now at Uni and learning just how much take away food costs, sweet and sour chicken/chicken chow mien/ special fried rice.

We also like Indian food but tend to either cook that at home or get the Charlie Bingham (spelling?) ones from the supermarket.

Once a week - Friday. I cannot bear to cook on a Friday. At the minute we are also eating out on a Sunday night.

Usually weekly ( Sat night). I love Indian but we don’t tend to have takeaway ( we like Asda curries). When we can afford it we order takeaway curry. We tend to have a chippy tea or Asda pizzas. I love Chinese but DH & DD not so keen. I do a late shift weekly so sometimes have Chinese when I finish. DD likes Maccie D’s. I wasn’t all that keen but now I love the triple cheeseburger! Not a big fan of KFC. I was reading about a guy who set up his own fried chicken business & it sounded ten times better than KFC! If we had something similar locally I would definitely use it 🙂🙂

Once or twice a month, very limited choice where we live, good fish and chips is really the only option.

Couldn't believe it when I stayed with a friend who lives in a large city (pre Covid obviously) the choice and quality was amazing.

Downside to rural living.

Probably once or twice a month, usually pizza or fish and chips. Chinese occasionally as very expensive.

Usually once a week but we've started using a frozen meal delivery service as it's cheaper overall. Favourites are Chinese, papa johns and the local burger joint!

We used to get them once a week but lockdown broke the habit when nothing local was open. Now, it’s about every five or six weeks but I’ll cook a fake away every Friday/Saturday night.
